There are certainlaws and principles which are not to be broken. Alongthese lines the Lord Jesus tells us that the Father willappoint those next to the Lord who have demonstratedmost of the Spirit of the Redeemer. He will not putanyone in such a position or into the Kingdom arbitrarily. His Character, His Words, stand pledged that He willR5119 : page 326make the best of us that He is able to do, while at thesame time recognizing our wills as paramount.Jehovah does not seek those as His children who needto be forced. Our Lord said that the Father seeketh suchto worship Him as worship Him in spirit and in truth.(John 4:23.) Thefirst of these jewels was our Lord JesusChrist, who was polished, perfected andtaken up on high. Jehovah did not ceaseHis work with the perfection of His Son,our Lord. He has arranged that other jewels be cut andpolished after the similitude of His Son, that they mayshine with Him in the heavenly glory and Kingdom; asit is written, "We are His workmanship, created in ChristJesus unto good works."--Eph. 2:10.
