Again, grace provides the Redeemer's sacrifice on ourbehalf--not only for our original sin, but for all trespasseson the way. When the Apostle says that therighteousness of the Law is fulfilled in us, he is not speakingof the Church as under that Law Covenant; but he issaying that while the Jews could not keep that Law becauseof the imperfections of their flesh, yet the ChurchR5073 page 243keeps that Law; for it does not apply to our flesh, butto our spirit. Hence, the ability to keep that Law we,as old creatures, do not have; and we could not thus keepthe Law any more than they. But we as New Creaturesshould be accounted as not only keeping that Law, but askeeping the Law of Sacrifice.The Little Flock will keep the Law of Sacrifice. TheGreat Company will keep the Law in the spirit of theirminds; but failing to do more they will lose the greatreward of glory and honor. So, then, those of the consecratedwho keep the Law of Love, the Law of Sacrifice,will be accounted as worthy of glory and honor withChrist Jesus. And those who fail to keep this Law ofSacrifice, but who maintain the Law of Justice, will finallybe accounted worthy of everlasting life, but not ofimmortality.R5073 page 243====================THE LIFE-RIGHTS OF THE ANCIENT WORTHIESRIGHT TO LIFE is one thing, but right toeternal life is another. Adam had the rightto live, which would have been eternal ifby obedience he had demonstrated hisworthiness to live forever. So with theAncient Worthies; when raised from thedead they will have the right to live, butonly through the Mediator. They will nothave life-rights of their own, for there areno such rights except those which are recognizedby the Father and Justice. The Apostle Paultells us that already the Ancient Worthies have the Divineapproval. But although they pleased God, He didnot give them eternal life; and although they shall pleasethe Mediator, He will not turn them over to the Father,to Justice, until the end of the Millennial Age.The Scriptures say also that all live unto God (Luke 2038),for from His standpoint they only sleep. (SeeDeut. 3116; John 1111, etc.) Not the Ancient Worthiesalone, but the rest of the world live unto God in thesame sense, although they were not counted acceptable toHim. He has made provision for them through the Mediator,but that provision will not be complete until the end
