emainYour brother in Christ,DAVID STRATTON.--N.J.----------"PROCRASTINATION THE THIEF OF TIME"DEAR BROTHER RUSSELL:--In so many instances the Truth friends come to themeetings, either just at the opening hour, or after servicehas commenced, that it seems to me something might well bewritten on the subject, tending to correct this tardiness. Themeeting is disturbed more or less by the late arrivals, whoin most instances could just as well be present before the meetingbegins. They make sufficient haste to get to the meetingson time, but they do not start this hurry early enough to be ontime. Many deplore their inability to better serve the Lord andHis Truth. They say, "I would like to do something for theLord, but have no talent, or no opportunity for service."Bless their hearts! They could readily manifest a greater degreeof zeal by being at the meeting thirty minutes before theopening hour, thus showing their love for the brethren andtheir appreciation of Christian fellowship.Perhaps in no other way could they so effectually indicatetheir desire to be of service to God. They are neglecting agolden opportunity, it seems to me. The natural disposition isto take the last possible street car that would bring one tothe meeting in time to be at its opening, whereas we shouldsurely seek to go on the earliest car possible. The fellowship of the saints is ofttimes worth more thanwhat we get from the class lesson. This should prompt usall to be half an hour ahead of time rather than even oneminute late.Should we not resist the temptation to be late in startingto meetings quite as much as the temptation to negligence inother respects?Your brother in the love and service of the Lord,J. A. BOHNET.----------WATCH TOWER BIBLE & TRACT SOCIETY:--The postal I mailed you brought in return mail thedesired literature. Thank you. I have read and havemade the Truth my own. And now I desire to co-operatein spreading the good tidings to others. Please advise howI may do this to the best advantage. I desire to meet allthe expense incident to the distribution of literature, whichI shall do myself.I enclose a dollar for The Watch Tower, which I desireto have regularly.May the Lord continue to bless you in your labor oflove. With earnest prayers, S.
