Dr Richard Lee<br />

Dr Lee joined the Board in 1987. Dr Lee’s principal<br />

business interests are in the manufacturing of textiles<br />

and apparel in Southeast Asia, and he is chairman<br />

of TAL Apparel. He is also a director of Jardine<br />

Matheson and Hongkong Land.<br />

Robert Léon<br />

Mr Léon joined the Board in 1994. He is a manager<br />

of Qualis and a director of Roc Oil Company and<br />

Bridgeport Energy.<br />

Lincoln K.K. Leong<br />

Mr Leong joined the Board in March 2012. He is a<br />

Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience<br />

in the accountancy and investment banking industries.<br />

Mr Leong is also finance and business development<br />

director of MTR Corporation and a non-executive<br />

director of Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company<br />

and Tai Ping Carpets International.<br />

A.J.L. Nightingale<br />

Mr Nightingale joined the Board in 2006 and was<br />

Managing Director of the Company from 2006 to<br />

March 2012. He held a number of senior positions<br />

since first joining the Jardine Matheson group in 1969<br />

until his retirement from executive office in March<br />

2012. He is also a director of Dairy Farm, Hongkong<br />

Land, Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Jardine Matheson<br />

and Jardine Strategic, and a commissioner of Astra.<br />

Mr Nightingale is also a member of the Commission<br />

on Strategic Development, a member of the Committee<br />

on Strategic Enhancement of Hong Kong as an<br />

International Financial Centre, a vice president of<br />

The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong<br />

Kong, a council member of the Employers’ Federation<br />

of Hong Kong, a Hong Kong representative to the<br />

APEC Business Advisory Council, a member of<br />

Chongqing Mayor’s International Economic Advisory<br />

Council and a member of the UK ASEAN Business<br />

Council Advisory Panel. He is also chairman of The<br />

Sailors Home and Missions to Seamen in Hong Kong.<br />

Lord Powell of Bayswater kcmg<br />

Lord Powell joined the Board in 1992. He was<br />

previously Private Secretary and adviser on foreign<br />

affairs and defence to British Prime Ministers,<br />

Baroness Thatcher and Rt Hon John Major. He is<br />

a director of Caterpillar, Hongkong Land, LVMH<br />

Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Matheson & Co,<br />

Capital Generation Partners, Textron Corporation,<br />

Schindler Holding, Northern Trust Global Services<br />

and Magna Holdings. He is co-chairman of the UK<br />

Government’s Asia Task Force and was previously<br />

president of the China-Britain Business Council and<br />

chairman of the Singapore-British Business Council.<br />

James Watkins<br />

Mr Watkins joined the Board in 1997. He was<br />

a director and group general counsel of Jardine<br />

Matheson from 1997 to 2003. Mr Watkins qualified<br />

as a solicitor in 1969 and was formerly a partner<br />

of Linklaters. He is also a director of Advanced<br />

Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, Asia<br />

Satellite Telecommunications Holdings, Global<br />

Sources, Hongkong Land, IL&FS India Realty<br />

Fund II and Jardine Cycle & Carriage.<br />

Percy Weatherall<br />

Mr Weatherall joined the Board in 2000 and was<br />

Managing Director from 2000 to 2006. He first joined<br />

the Jardine Matheson group in 1976 and retired from<br />

executive office in 2006. He is also a director of Dairy<br />

Farm, Hongkong Land, Jardine Matheson and Jardine<br />

Strategic. He is chairman of Corney and Barrow.<br />

Giles White<br />

Mr White joined the Board in 2009. He is the Jardine<br />

Matheson group general counsel. He was previously<br />

Asia managing partner of Linklaters based in Hong<br />

Kong, prior to which he was the firm’s head of global<br />

finance and projects in London. Mr White is also a<br />

director of Jardine Matheson Limited, Dairy Farm<br />

and Jardine Matheson.<br />
