<strong>PBIS</strong> <strong>Team</strong> FacilitatorThe <strong>Team</strong> Facilitator <strong>is</strong> a non-admin<strong>is</strong>trative memberof the school staff who <strong>is</strong> responsible to:• Attend and monitor <strong>PBIS</strong> training• Ensure that <strong>PBIS</strong> <strong>is</strong> implemented with integrity• Coordinate with the External Coach• Facilitation of team meetings (develop agenda,calendar, etc.)• Annual report shared with d<strong>is</strong>trict team• Network with other team facilitators


School <strong>PBIS</strong> <strong>Team</strong>Responsible for:• Data collection in the building (i.e. the big five andacademic data)• Ensure expectations are taught, reinforced, andmonitored at the school-wide level• Celebrations/boosters• Communication of <strong>PBIS</strong> activities at facultymeetings• Communicate with parent/PTO/PTA• Collect and analyze <strong>PBIS</strong> specific data (i.e. <strong>Team</strong>Implementation Checkl<strong>is</strong>t, BoQ, , SAS, SET, etc.)


Who should be on the school <strong>PBIS</strong> <strong>Team</strong>?(5-88 school employees recommended)• Regular Education Classroom Teachers• Organized by grade level or subject area• Special Education• (strongly recommend a certified teacher)• Support Staff• Counselor, psycholog<strong>is</strong>t, literacy coach, math teacher leader,implementer, learning coordinator, librarian, etc.• Paraprofessional, Custodian, Secretary, or Safety Ass<strong>is</strong>tant• Make every effort to include a Parent, communitymember, or non-school employee


D<strong>is</strong>trict Coach• The <strong>PBIS</strong> coach <strong>is</strong> a cheerleader, a strong communicator and anoptim<strong>is</strong>tic and positive leader.• An effective coach <strong>is</strong> highly skilled at developing and sustaining ng trustingrelationships, ambitious and positive about the change process, respectfulof teachers and the demands of the classroom and skilled at workingwith and understanding data.• The responsibilities of the <strong>PBIS</strong> Coach include mentoring, providingingass<strong>is</strong>tance and guidance to the <strong>PBIS</strong> team, ensuring that data <strong>is</strong> collectedand used efficiently for dec<strong>is</strong>ion-making, and sharing information andresults with stakeholders on a regular bas<strong>is</strong>.• The <strong>PBIS</strong> coach prepares for and attends <strong>PBIS</strong> meetings (at least once ortwice per month), ass<strong>is</strong>ts in the development and implementation ofaction plans and relies on self-assessment instruments and studentoutcome data to determine progress.
