• In 1995, JSHDF was established.• In Mar. 2007, discussed about the collaboration between twocountries in Ilsan symposium in Korea (Drs. Lee, Shin, &Masakane).• In Sep. 2007, discussed about the preparation of Korea-Japan HDFmeeting at the Tianjin ISO meeting (Drs, Kawanish, Maskane, &Shin).• In Nov. 2007, Drs. Lee and Shin and Drs. Kawanishi, Tomo andMasakane had HDF meeting at Hiroshima ISPD meeting andagreed to have exchange meetings for HDF between Korea andJapan(1 st Meeting).• In Feb. 2008, KSHDF was established.• In Mar. 2008, 3 Japanese nephrologists presented 6 topics in theIlsan hospital symposium in Korea (Drs. Tomo, Masakane andTuichida) (2 nd Meeting).• In Feb. 2009, 5 Korean nephrologists were participated at NagoyaJSHDF conference (Drs. Lee, 2 Kim, Shin and Chin) (3 rd Meeting).• In Nov. 2009, 4 Korean doctors were participated at 15 th JSHDFconference (Drs. Kim, Park, Ju and Hwang) (4 th Meeting).• This Korea-Japan HDF forum is 5 th Meeting.
