KG114 Flashing Red BeaconHoneywell flashing red beacons aredesigned to meet international aerialnavigation requirements for obstructionlighting applications. FAA and ICAOapplications include television, radio,communications, microwave, transmissionline towers and other objects extendinggreater than 150' above ground level.The optical system consists of four redFresnel lenses, designed to provide a definite360º horizontal beam. The two lampreceptacles are mounted to properly positiontwo 620 or 700 Watt Mogul pre-focus beaconlamps, thus providing correct beamdistribution in accordance with FAA andICAO specifications. A three-terminalconnecting block is mounted in the base,allowing each lamp to be individual fed andmonitored if desired. Internal wiring is heatresistantinsulated flexible wire thatterminates at the connecting block. Unlessotherwise ordered, beacons are furnishedwith a five-foot length of #12-3 conductorNeoprene cable, entering the base through a1” watertight connector. Conduit may beused by removing the watertight connectorand disconnecting the cable.
