If present, this text field shall consist of one or more subfields comprised of aset of information items. Four mandatory information items comprise a subfield:• The first information item is the Greenwich mean time / GMT when theprocessing occurred. (See Section 7.7.2.2)• The second information item (processing algorithm name/version / NAV) shallcontain text of up to 64 characters identifying the name and version of theprocessing algorithm / application or workstation.• The third information item (algorithm owner / OWN) shall contain text of up to 64characters with the contact information for the organization that developed /maintains the processing algorithm / application or latent workstation.• The fourth information item (process description / PRO) shall contain text of up to255 characters describing a process or procedure applied to the sample in this Type-XX record.7.4.2 Universal latent workstation (ULW) annotation information / LAIThis optional field, which is new to the 2011 version of the standard, exists only in RecordType-9. The ULW has been extensively used and logs generated from it were routinelytransmitted in user-defined Field 9.901 in previous versions of this standard. Thus, thisversion of the standard formally includes Field 9.901: Universal latent workstationannotation information / ULA to record latent processing logs formatted according to theULW.7.4.3 Information assurance audit logsIf a user wishes to maintain a log of differences between transmissions, Field 98.900: Auditlog / ALF may be used to indicate how and why a transaction was modified. Record Type-98 is new to the 2011 version of the standard. It is not reserved exclusively for log-related information but hashistorically often been used for this purpose. It is limited to a maximum of 126 characters. This maximum size was established in order to maintain consistency across encodings. Themaximum size differed in the 2007 and 2008 versions of the standard. The comment fields[2013a>] with a 126 character maximum [
