(IMT=FACE only). In other cases, this field isoptional for facial images. When present, it shall describe attributes associated with thesubject’s captured facial image. This version maintains the upper limit of 50 repeatingsubfields for all encodings from the 2007 version. (The 2008 version was unrestricted). Thevalue should be selected from the “Attribute code” column of Table 63. For “PhysicalCharacteristic”, enter a characteristic as listed in the NCIC code. See Annex D: NCIC codetable. In the 2007 version, the minimum character count for this was listed as 5; however,there was an entry of “HAT” which has 3 characters.
