Add<br />

application<br />

Reference: Configuration options<br />

Allows you to create a new application rule. If you press this button, a<br />

dialog box is opened. Here you can select the required application for<br />

creating a new rule.<br />

Remove rule Removes the selected application rule.<br />

Show details The window "Show details" displays the details of the application<br />

selected in the application list box.(Option available in expert mode only.)<br />

Reload Reloads the list of applications and simultaneously discards the changes<br />

just made.<br />

11.5.3 Trusted vendors<br />

A list of trusted software producers is displayed under Trusted vendors. (Options<br />

available in expert mode only.)<br />

You can add / remove producers to / from the list using the Always trust this provider<br />

option in the Network Event popup window. You can allow network access from<br />

applications that are signed by the listed providers by default, by enabling the<br />

Automatically allow applications created by trusted vendors option.<br />

Trusted vendors for user<br />

This list contains all users in the system. If you are logged in as an administrator, you<br />

can select the user whose list of trusted vendors you want to view or update. If you are<br />

not a privileged user, you can see only the current user logged on.<br />

Automatically allow applications created by trusted vendors<br />

If this option is enabled, the application provided with the signature of a known and<br />

trusted provider is automatically permitted access to the network. The option is<br />

enabled as the default setting.<br />

Vendors<br />

The list shows all vendors classified as trusted.<br />
