AR300 <strong>OPERATION</strong> MODESMODE 6. – QUICK CHARGE MODEThe QUICK CHARGE would be chosento top off an A/C system. The auto a/csystem needs to be running to performthis function.Scroll until the LCD screen reads:6 QUICK CHARGE- +Push the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread:CLOSE HI & LO MNFDVALVES. PUSH SETPush the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread:START AUTO A/CSYSTEM. PUSH SETPush the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread:USE+ or -KEYSSELECT CHARGE WGPush the “+ “ or “-” key until the desiredcharge amount is programmed.XX kgXXXgPUSH STARTPush the “START” key to start theQUICK CHARGE Mode. During thisMode the LCD will display the amountcharged.OPEN LO MNFLD VLVEXX kg XXXgOnce the amount displayed equals thecharged amount, the LCD will read:6 CHARGE COMPLETE-REPEAT +STOPIf the “-” key is pushed, this operationwill be repeated.If the “+” key is pushed, the LCD willreturn to the Refrigerant SelectionScreen.MODE 6 is now complete.MODE 7. – LIQUID FLUSHThe LIQUID FLUSH would be chosento flush the compressor oil from an AutoA/C system. This is usually done whenretrofitting a car from R-12 to R-134a oranother alternate refrigerant. Whenflushing, always use the refrigerant typecontained in the Auto A/C system.Scroll until the LCD screen reads:7 LIQUID FLUSH- +Push the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread:OPEN HI & LO MNFDVALVES. PUSH STARTPush the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread:USE+ or -KEYSSELECT FLUSH TIMEPush the “+ “ or “-” key until the desiredcharge amount is programmed.XXX MINPUSH SETPush the “SET” key. The LCD will nowread7 READY TO FLUSHPUSH STARTPush the “START” key to start theLIQUID FLUSH Mode. During this Modethe LCD will display the amount ofFLUSH TIME remaining.16
