On one side of the city are thefinancial and luxury residential districts,while on the other are slums, where thehygiene conditions are poor. It was the first overseas trip for both ofthem. We visited the Chicago Children’s Museum, theWisconsin Dells, the Science and Industry Museum, theNavy Pier and many other places. The kids loved themuseums and water parks but their favourite spot was theDeer Park at the Wisconsin Dells where they could feedthe deer and watch them roam in their natural habitat.Chicago United States 美 國 芝 加 哥劉 嘉 欣 ( 化 學 系 )今 年 帶 同 子 女 往 芝 加 哥 參 加 弟 弟 的 婚 禮 , 這 是 他們 首 次 往 外 地 旅 遊 , 心 情 固 然 興 奮 。 我 們 遊 覽 了芝 加 哥 兒 童 博 物 館 、 Wisconsin Dells 水 上 樂 園 、科 學 及 工 業 博 物 館 、 海 軍 碼 頭 等 。 兩 個 小 孩 子 尤其 喜 愛 逛 博 物 館 和 到 水 上 樂 園 , 但 最 深 刻 印 象 的是 在 水 上 樂 園 內 的 鹿 園 , 因 為 他 們 可 親 自 餵 飼 鹿隻 , 看 牠 們 自 由 自 在 地 在 園 內 奔 跑 。Paris France 法 國 巴 黎Bruce Tse (UAO)I enjoyed many of the places I visited during my 18-day tour toEurope, in particular the little towns in Switzerland andAustria, which are rich in history and have breathtakingscenery. The whole trip was wonderful except that my walletand mobile phone were stolen in France. It’s delightful towalk along the canal bank to enjoy its peace andelegance. When I visited there in day time, severalartists showed their works to me. I bought some ofthem. The canal also reminds me of scenes fromJapanese dramas. So romantic!鮑 偉 昌 博 士 ( 教 育 學 系 )在 北 海 道 的 短 短 五 天 , 最 喜 愛 的 是 小 樽 的 運 河 。 漫 步在 河 畔 , 靜 靜 地 欣 賞 她 的 優 雅 , 沿 途 還 有 一 些 藝 術 家在 即 席 創 作 , 蠻 有 心 思 的 , 我 也 買 了 數 件 作 品 。 小 樽運 河 也 令 我 想 起 日 劇 中 的 場 景 , 何 等 浪 漫 !2 3
