Global Presence<br />
Based in Haderslev Denmark, <strong>BSI</strong> has designed, engineered and manufactured<br />
leading rigging, deck hardware and hatch solutions for the yachting industry,<br />
since the beginning in 1978. Additionally, <strong>BSI</strong>’s expertise in hatches has led to<br />
the development of products for the wind energy sector.<br />
In conjunction with our customers, <strong>BSI</strong> provides results through the use of best<br />
practices, solution oriented experts, and our commitment to integrity. <strong>BSI</strong>’s<br />
collaboration with our customers begins with analyzing their needs, continues<br />
through in-house design, manufacture, installation and service for the entire<br />
lifespan of our products. The <strong>BSI</strong> Group’s customer focused management philosophy<br />

In 2010 <strong>BSI</strong> opened office in Palma de Mallorca and is in the process of opening<br />
in Beijing, China. <strong>BSI</strong> is now present on 3 continents and through our<br />
extensive Service Center, Dealer and Agent network, we reach all around the<br />
World.<br />

The <strong>BSI</strong> Twin Cup<br />
The unique <strong>BSI</strong> Twin Cup is another successful<br />
product development from <strong>BSI</strong>. Available with a<br />
range <strong>BSI</strong> turnbuckles for both rod and wire in<br />
rod sizes from -8 to – 60, the Twin Cup solution is<br />
strong, light and practical!<br />
New family of wire/<br />
rod turnbuckles<br />
<strong>BSI</strong> is launching a new family of Wire/rod turnbuckles,<br />
named the CB (Closed Bronze) series. The<br />
new turnbuckle feature a minimalistic yet very<br />
functional design and is machined of solid marine<br />
grade Alu-bronze. The turnbuckle has been<br />
tested thoroughly at the Denmarks Technological<br />
Institute and was proven stronger than rod-studs<br />
holding it! See it at METS 2010 and available for<br />
trade immediately hereafter.<br />
The new SL7 rod<br />
turnbuckle<br />
First launched on X-Yachts new Xc-38 in October<br />
2010, our new generation of rod turnbuckle is<br />
baptized the SL7. Made of high-grade alu-bronze,<br />
the SL7 replaces the SL3 and supplements the already<br />
very successful SL5 turnbuckle. Designed<br />
with maximum size keyplates for better grip and<br />
chrome protection.<br />

X-Yachts Xc-38 equipped by <strong>BSI</strong><br />
X-Yachts new ”little sister” in the exceptionally well received Xc range was launched October 2010<br />
and is fully equipped with <strong>BSI</strong> deck-cups, <strong>BSI</strong> rod rigging with new SL7 turnbuckles and Moonlight<br />

<strong>BSI</strong> composite rigging development<br />
<strong>BSI</strong> is at the forefront of composite rigging development, being the preferred supplier of metal interfaces<br />
such as tangs, toggles, turnbuckles and other custom hardware to the industry’s leading manufacturers<br />
including Southern Spars/EC6, Future Fibres and Smart Rigging. Pictured here is Southern<br />

Preferred supplier of rod rigging!<br />
<strong>BSI</strong> continues to establish itself as the industry’s preferred supplier of rod rigging to the worlds leading<br />
spar-makers including King Composites, Marström, Seldén, Southern Spar, Sparcraft and Z-spar/<br />

Second generation Compact Flush hatch<br />
<strong>BSI</strong> is launching its second generation Moonlight Compact Flush hatch at METS2010. The new CF<br />
hatch features significant improvements such as “click-in” gasket, stay and hinge fittings, thereby<br />
meeting the market demand for a simple and elegant, yet strong and absolutely “flush” hatch. Customers<br />
can choose between a selection of stays, handles and colours, and the hatch is equally well<br />
suited for sail and powerboats. CE certified, all moonlight hatches withstand rigorous testing for<br />
structural and waterproof integrity under pressure testing in the most extreme temperature ranges.<br />
New series of Compact Flush Portlights<br />
<strong>BSI</strong> is currently developing a new series of Compact Flush Portlights, that will see the light of day on<br />
the new Xp-44 launching early spring <strong>2011</strong>. This new range of portlights is targeted at all yachts that<br />
are following the significant design trend of having large acrylic side-windows. Watch out here, for<br />
some new innovative features and typical <strong>BSI</strong>/Moonlight design details.

Moonlight continues to set the standard for high quality hacthes and portlights, and is the chosen<br />
supplier of many leading yacht-builders around the world, including Najad, Elan, X-Yachts, Arcona, Jboats<br />
and many others. Moonlight standard marine hatches are chosen for their renowned strength<br />
and reliability for mission critical applications such a life-rescue boats as well as a wide range of<br />
