Legacy RanchThe Jewel Of The FoothillsIt’s been three years since Legacy Ranch moved fromits Southern California location in Chino. Our beautifulNorthern California facility is located in Clements,approximately 50 minutes southeast of the SacramentoAirport and at the base of the Sierra Foothills. With 145acres of lush green pastures, spacious barns and ourexpansive 5/8-mile training track, we and our clientscouldn’t be happier.Legacy’s two standing stallions, Our New Recruit andCindago, have produced some of the most beautiful foalsone can imagine. Our New Recruit’s first crop will betwo-year-olds in ’09. Cindago’s first crop will be yearlingsin ’09. We are looking forward to some great racehorsesfrom both of these sires. Cindago, a five-year-old stakes-winning sonof Indian Charlie, was a gate-to-wire winner of the ElCajon Stakes, defeating both Bob And John and BrotherDerek.Owners Pete and Evelyn Parrella, are fortunate tohave some of California’s most notable owners andtrainers as clients. Some of the services offered at LegacyRanch are breaking, training, breeding and foaling.Pete also serves on the Board of Directors of the CaliforniaThoroughbred Breeders Association (CTBA) inthe position of Treasurer. As if that doesn’t keep himbusy enough, he also oversees Parr Lumber Company—his international wholesale lumber and plywood distributioncenter located in Chino, California.The Hadley family has been with Legacy Ranch for 23years. Shaun Hadley is the Ranch Manager and on-sitetrainer. He makes sure that every horse leaving the ranchis in the best racing condition possible and ready to runon any track in the country. His wife, Anita, directs thesuccessful breeding program, as well as the care of maresand foals.
