A New Song
I tried to write a song one day
But could not find the words to say
In my anger and my frustration
I just threw it all away
On the radio today I heard
A song so familiar I knew each word
It seems someone had come along
And found a way to revive my song
I must admit God, I’m just a sinner
I blamed you because I was not a winner
How could you let me throw away
My chance to have a big payday?
While I was filled with so much dismay
A voice within my heart did say
“Relax for there is nothing wrong”
“Listen to God’s voice and get a new song.”

Acts of the Apostles
Acts of the Apostles
Were acts of Godly devotion
The joy of service was
Their primary emotion
Their loyalty was to God not man
Jehovah God they always obeyed
Theirs was a courageous stand
When required Caesar’s dues they paid
To the Jews and to the nations
They endeavored to always preach
No willing soul was ever
Beyond the Apostles’ reach
After the deaths of those faithful men
The congregation was ruled by apostates
So many brothers took up with sin
Truth was locked away until a future date
Today we do battle with apostasy
Truth progress steadily
I’m free to serve at no cost to me
Today I serve Jehovah readily

Earthly Paradise
It was Adam and Eve, who did the dirty deed
Sinned against God, sowed some rotten seed
In the eyes of Jehovah God, these two rebelled
So from the Garden of Eden, they were expelled
Life for them did not go very well
Outside of Eden they were forced to dwell
Cain slew Abel and things only got worse
Today you can be killed for what’s inside of your purse
The gift from God is blessed life
Man’s days are filled with trouble and strife
The wages that sin pays is certain death
We have to struggle until our last breath
Armageddon is coming it will not delay
You had better get ready for that awe inspiring day
I pray for God’s forgiveness through Jesus’ sacrifice
Looking forward to a new life in a restored paradise
I will run this race because I want to win
Try to maintain a distance between me and sin
I will continue to serve Jehovah never even think twice
Looking ever forward to an earthly paradise

Faithful Noah
While the Ark was under construction
Noah preached of a coming destruction
His warning words were not believed
Folks thought that he had been deceived
God’s Love
Once the Ark had been sealed tight
It rained all day and it rained all night
Forty days and forty nights it continued to fall
Outside the Ark, it washed away all
At first the people did not fret
They had not fully gotten the message yet
Once the realization had set in
They eyed the door wondering how they could get in
Since the wicked spirits God did not slay
We face the same problems on earth today
The message goes out to all who will hear
Jehovah’s Day of Judgment will soon be here

God’s friend, Job
Job was God’s acknowledged friend
He knew that upon Jehovah he could always depend
Satan was jealous and wished to tear the friends apart
He knew that this, would break Jehovah’s heart
With God’s permission, he stole Job’s wealth
He killed Job’s children, and then he stole Job’s health
Job proved that Satan’s claims were a lie
The devil made Job’s wife say, “Curse God and die?”
Job did not listen, knowing that Jehovah cannot sin
Despite his machinations Satan did not win
He even convinced Job’s friends to put their two cents in
They tried to tell Job that, he must be guilty of gross sin
Job opened his mouth wide and in vain
Without knowledge his words caused undue pain.
Jehovah’s righteous law was almost broken
After a powerful rebuke, Job replied I have misspoken
Because Job remained faithful, he received more than he ever lost
His endurance under trial was well worth the cost
Rewards like Job’s can be mine and yours
Upon faithful servants, a blessing from Jehovah God pours

I Never Asked
With reverence I sat down to write you a song
But the words and the melody never got along
I decided to change my approach and I began to pray
Your song was almost ready, but something was in the way
If I don’t have the inspiration, how much longer must I wait?
Maybe it’s not inspiration I lack; maybe it’s a lack of faith
So I went away frustrated, to see what I must now do
Then I heard a song that said, all the things I wanted mine to
It was beautiful and stated fact
Why didn’t God give me a song like that?
I tried to keep my disappointment masked
The answer struck me to my heart, in truth I never asked.

The Great Deceiver
In the beginning Adam and Eve messed up
God’s Love
When they bought the lie that Satan the devil dressed up
“it is perfectly ok for you to do whatever you want to.”
“You will not die because your God loves you.”
God does not lie, so Adam and Eve did have to die
Because we inherited their sin, so must you and I
This great deceiver is still at work so we must stay awake
Our standing with Jehovah is always at stake
Wherever Satan goes, trouble is never far behind
He will help you ruin your life, if you are so inclined
Satan even tempted Jesus with the things under his control
Jesus rebuked him with scriptures and safeguarded his soul
Christ set the example for each of us to follow
Though Satan brought about Jesus’ death,
His victory was short and hollow
The time passed quickly as an exhaled breath
In Jesus’ name we pray, for God’s will to be done on earth
We look forward to the perfection that existed at man’s birth.

The Witness Protection Program
I used to get drunk, I used to gamble and I used to smoke
Many days I woke up, hung over and completely broke
I did this so often that I became a joke
On the foul air of this system, I was about to choke
Then one day I answered a knock upon my door
I met a man who spoke in ways I had never heard before
He revealed Bible truths replacing many lies
He told me the truths about God’s kingdom
What really happens when a person dies?
Who is really going to heaven and who on earth will remain?
He told me that Jehovah is God’s accepted name
When I met a former friend
He tasked me to defend
The new person that I now am
I said that I’m in the witness protection program
His eyes were open, but he could not see
I worship Jehovah in spirit and truth, and He protects me.

To Be the Least
It does not bother me
That I am considered least among the world’s people
Like the little engine that could and had the nerve to try
I am the flame that flickers, but refuses to die
I am the signal losing strength, but still I can be heard
I am the unopened book that holds truth in every word
I am the fading image that still can be seen
Dirt and slime have been thrown at me, but inside I remain clean
I am eternal, because I was built to last
I know that I will get there, even though I don’t move fast
I am a determined swimmer, and I refuse to drown
I am pleased with my life, so I refuse to frown
Hate me if you choose to, I will love you until my death
Speak and do evil towards me, I will forgive you with my last breath.

Jehovah had no one to share love with,
So He created a son as a personal gift
Other sons came to be through the first
This helped to cool God’s lonely thirst
God’s Love
The planets were born Jehovah named each one
They all came to be through His first son
But Jehovah God was not yet content
So back to work He and His son went
Attention was then paid to the earth
A small blue planet was given birth
With clear water and green vegetation
All heaven cheered God’s latest creation
Jehovah then took the sand of the earth
And He brought about the first man’s birth
God gave to him the breath of life
Adam took a nap and woke up with a wife
Paradise was rocked by the very first lie
Eternal man now had to die
A fallen angel’s jealousy
Stole eternal life from you and me

Jehovah allowed His son to die for mankind
No greater love will anyone ever find
He died for all, but few appreciate
This great gift of love, a sacrifice so great
There’s coming a day when Jehovah will be vindicated
The end of all wickedness is clearly indicated
So you had better get ready, the end is very near
Before you know it that great day will be here.
An army of faithful witnesses have been unleashed
All over the earth this good news is being preached
These faithful preachers do not stop to rest
Their love for Jehovah makes them do their best
We are in this race because we want to win
We live for the day when there will be no more sin
Satan and his demons will soon be abyssed
Not one single day, will they ever be missed
This is the story of man’s days upon the earth
We have continued to stand since the day of our birth
We have not accomplished one thing on our own
It is because our creator has never left us alone.

Saul of Tarsus
Saul of Tarsus had a zeal that was highly rated
To preserving Jewish tradition he was dedicated
So when he learned of a group that was hated
By people he venerated
He set out to put an end
To the people who practiced this great sin
Saul was willing to travel very far and wide
To make sure that from him, no one could ever hide
Righteous wrath drove him to strive
No enemy of his would escape alive
By duty he felt bound
He must prosecute each one he found
On his way to Damascus
A flash of light took away his sight
Three days of praying and not eating a meal
A vision of the prophet Ananias became real
He received a commission that Christ revealed
Miraculously Saul of Tarsus was healed
As Paul, he became foremost among Christ’s brothers

Former friends could not believe
That he was now one of the others
Physical abuse and harsh weather
Never seemed to slow Paul down
He was determined to preach in every village and town
Many of Paul’s writings are found today
In the Christian Scriptures that were written in Greek
To emulate Paul, we must think before we speak
In fact we should always let Jehovah speak for us
Our enemies may hate us, but
Our God Jehovah will adore us.

The Shepherding Call
Brother Smith had not attended a meeting at the Kingdom Hall nor gone out in the field
ministry for several months. The elders correctly assumed that for whatever reason
Brother Smith had become inactive. When the Circuit Overseer next visited, he and one
of the elders decided to make a shepherding call on Brother Smith. It was winter and
somewhat cold outside so the brothers were dressed in coats and hats. Brother Smith
greeted the brothers warmly and invited them to come in and sit down in the living room
that was warm and toasty from the fire that burned brightly in the fireplace. The brothers
removed their coats and hats and sat comfortably while they looked around the very
neat and tidy room. The Overseer looked intently at the fireplace for about a minute and
without comment he got up and taking the fire tongs he removed one of the burning
coals from the fire and set it aside. Everyone watched it as after a few seconds it started
to grow cold and seemed to die. The overseer picked it up and placed it back with the
other burning coals where it almost immediately started to burn brightly as it had before.
Without saying another word the overseer got his hat and coat and prepared to leave.
Brother Smith, with tears in his eyes embraced the brothers and said “I will see you both
at the meeting on Sunday.”
Hebrews chapter 10, verses 23 and 24 say: And let us consider one another so as to
incite to love and fine works, not forsaking our meeting together, as some have the
custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you see the day drawing
near.

The Unmovable Stone
A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light and an
angel of Jehovah appeared. The man was told that he had work for him to do, and
showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The angel explained that the man was to
push against the rock with all his might. This the man did, day after day. For many years
he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive
surface of the unmoving rock, pushing it with all his might. Each night the man returned
to his cabin sore, and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.
Noticing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, the adversary decided to
enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man’s weary mind. “You have been
pushing against this rock for a long time, and it hasn’t budged. Why kill yourself over
this? You are never going to move it.” This gave the man the impression that the task
was impossible and that he was a failure. These troubling thoughts discouraged and
disheartened the man. “Why kill myself over this?” I’ll just put in my time, giving just the
minimum effort and that will be good enough. And that is what he planned to do until
one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his thoughts to the Lord.
“Lord” he said, “I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to
do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even been able to
budge that rock. What is wrong? Why am I failing? “Jehovah responded
compassionately, “My child, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you
that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, which you have done.
Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push.
And now you come to me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is
that really so? ”Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy
and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have
become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities
now surpass that which you used to have. Yet you haven’t moved the rock. But your
calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in my
wisdom. This you have done. I, my child, will now move the rock. “At times, when we
hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants,
when actually what God wants is simple obedience and Faith in Him…By all means
exercising the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still Jehovah God who
moves them.

The Wages That Sin Pays
The God of love has brought to birth
A place we know as the planet earth
He created also a galaxy of stars
The sun, the moon and planets like Mars
God granted to Adam and to Eve
Within marriage the power to conceive
The earthly parents of all human life
They were the first husband and wife
Mankind soon fell from grace
This Brought sadness to our God's face
Fallen angels took wives on a whim
Created mighty sons called the Nephilim
Noah preached a warning, but men took no note
Only Noah and his family survived on God's boat
As Jehovah expressed his righteous wrath
He gave to the earth a well-deserved bath
The Israelites were trapped into slavery
Moses told Pharaoh to set them all free
Ramses reacted with a dismissive frown
In the Red Sea he and his army did drown

As Satan tried to make true a lie
He encouraged faithful Job to curse God and die
But Job held on to his integrity
Providing an example for the whole world to see
Jesus was born upon the earth,
Throughout his life he proved his worth
For all men he would willingly die
His death an antidote for a poisonous lie
God's plan for man would not be undone
He provided the gift of his only son
Sin was not automatically relieved
Man still had to prove that he believed
Jesus' death was for all time
Saving both your life and mine
His resurrection is the victory
A solid hope for you and me
The devil's fate is firmly sealed
Sacred secrets have now been revealed
An army of proclaimers have been released
Their preaching work has never ceased

Throughout the land the truth is heard
As Faithful preachers proclaim the word
Loud and clear the word goes out
The end is near there is no doubt
Ancient prophesies are fulfilled
God's true worshippers are revealed
Babylon the Great in stark contrast
Her blood stained hands revealed at last
She has been sentenced for her many crimes
She is at the heart of these trying times
Soon she must pay for her sinful ways
For, "Death is the wage that sin pays."

If Not For Love
If not for love where would I be?
Whatever would have become of me?
Because of God's love I was created
my love for Him has been berated
"There is no God!" the fool has said
"If there ever was He is now surely dead."
One question please, that is if you know
who tells the elements when and where to go?
Who placed the sand upon the beach?
Who placed the moon within man's reach?
Who placed the stars up in the skies?
Who mourns when a righteous man dies?
The answer is clear there's no mystery
View the evidence and you will see
It is the God who created you and me
It is the God who exists beyond eternity

Moses
Moses was the chosen one
Raised as Pharaoh's daughter's son
Rejected a royal Egyptian life
He did not pursue an Egyptian wife
From Egypt he traveled both day and night
Lived in the camp of a Midianite
He was not concerned with racial pride
From among them he chose a bride
Moses would receive all he'd ever need
Forty years would give him the tools to lead
Saw a bush that burned but was not consumed
It was a miracle Moses rightly assumed
Returning to Egypt to face Pharaoh
To Ramses he said, "Let my people go"
Pharaoh would not do as he was asked
Through Holy spirit, his magicians were unmasked
Nine plagues on Egypt were brought to bear
But Ramses said, "I still do not care."
Plague number ten took away his son
He let the people go, his resolve was gone
The people escaped across the Red Sea

Pharaoh tried to reclaim the victory
The Israelites crossed the sea on dry ground
Ramses and his great army were all drowned
On Mount Sinai Moses was given the law
When he came down he did not like what he saw
They were engaging in idolatrous sin
Resulting in the death of three thousand men
Under Moses' direction they were led
With Manna from heaven they were well fed
For forty long years they would roam
Always in search of their new home
Moses failed to give God credit He was due
He suffered the punishment that did ensue
Because of his failure Moses was denied
The privilege of leading his people inside
Moses was allowed to view the Promised Land
The role of leader was taken from his hand
Moses was buried with such love and care
His body was hidden nobody knows where.

Because Adam Sinned
Because Adam sinned
God said that he must die
because we inherited that sin,
so must you and I
Satan the devil was also condemned
for bringing about a grand deception
Man has remained in a fallen state
Plagued by a deadly sinful infection
Our loving father Jehovah God decided
On a cure that He and His son provided
God gave us His only begotten son
For true believers the victory was won
After the war of Armageddon
Satan and his demons will be abyssed
as the survivors work towards gaining perfection
Sin of any kind will not be missed
Mistakes of the past are slowly corrected
as on earth the survivors and the resurrected
Enjoy a thousand years of peace
Then Satan and his demons will be released
Satan's demons and his human army
will try once again to break God's rules
they all will be destroyed together as fools

God’s Great Day
Satan the Great Deceiver,
Disguised himself as one very wise
Thus he pulled the wool over even angels' eyes
He convinced them to reject their heavenly place
To join the ranks of a demonic race
Very soon the abyss is where they will reside
As from God's wrath they cannot hide
Their end has already been foretold
They will not escape the master's hold
They have misled man with their deceptive lies
Blocking the truth from mankind's eyes
For this great crime they all must pay
In fear they anticipate the dawn of God's great day.

One Day In The Garden
One day in the Garden of Eden
A grand deception was carried out
The first couple was exposed to
a certain measure of doubt
Now Eve had not forgotten
All that she had been taught
But a certain serpent spoke
In ways that no serpent ought
"I'm not saying that it's a lie . . .
But I do not believe that God
Will positively let you die?"
So Eve was convinced that to eat
From this tree was a good thing to do
And not to be the only one,
She convinced Adam to eat some too
Jehovah God was not happy
As the rebellion took place
When he sought out the two rebels
They tried to hide from His face
"We knew that we were naked

And did not think that it was right
So we tried to hide ourselves
From your Holy sight."
Who told you that you were naked?
Adam what have you done?"
"It was that woman you gave me!
She must be a defective one!"
And thus mankind fell from grace
As they accepted the first lie
That is why man gets sick
And why his fate is to die
Because Jehovah God loves us
He came up with a plan
The blood of His begotten son
Could be used to repurchase man
After Armageddon
Man will work to restore the earth
We will also reach the perfection
That was ours at mankind’s birth
No more sickness and no more death,

Blessings will flow from heaven's gate
And those blessings will never cease.

Holy Matrimony
Adam took a nap and woke up with a wife
This mate was his fate for the rest of his life
Since Adam and Eve were always one
Where did the idea of divorce come from?

She was a gift he did not reject
On this subject we should all reflect
The one to which we are joined in love
Should be one that we are worthy of
Satan the Devil is the god of greed
He makes us want things we don’t need
He makes us to do things that we never should
He makes us to want things that do us no good
Jehovah God demands our exclusive devotion
Loyalty to God and our mate, should be our one emotion
God said it’s not good for a man to be lonely
Our mate and our God, should be our one and only.

Safe and Secure Within
Those who will reside inside Jehovah’s tent
Do so as his friends until the very end
His enemies will remain outside
As from His wrath they cannot hide
God’s Love
Truth proclaimers have been unleashed
Jehovah’s truth is being preached
Many accept the truth they hear
They know God’s kingdom has drawn near
They make the changes that are needed
Divine warnings they have heeded
They allow the truth to uncover their eyes
No longer deceived by Satan’s lies
So inside Jehovah’s tent they reside
No longer desiring the world outside
Living safely and secure within
They live apart from the world of sin.

A Good Day to Start
After speaking all the words
He was sent to earth to speak
After teaching all the lessons
He was sent to earth to teach
After preaching all the sermons
He was sent to earth to preach
After reaching all the people
He was sent to earth to reach
Jesus returned to his father
To await the time he would occupy his throne
His earthly kingdom has now started
How mighty it has grown
Kingdom proclaimers are very hard at work
God’s truth is spreading far and wide
One day it will fill the earth
If you have not taken part
Today is a good day for you to start.

Just a Crying Shame
It is just a crying shame
What they have done
To God’s holy name
They have blurred and obscured it
Tried to rob it of its power
Tried to hide the fact
That it is a mighty tower
People have gone to their graves
Never knowing that
The holy name of Jehovah
Is a name that saves
Who is guilty of this travesty?
Satan the devil, mankind’s enemy
He is jealous of Jehovah
He lacks God’s majesty
He created false religion
To try and steal God’s fame
Did bad things in the name of religion
Hoping that God would get the blame

Many believe in the trinity
That belief makes no sense to me
What is fact and not opinion?
God does not share his dominion
God is a Spirit and must be worshiped so
Remove the blind emotion
Worship Jehovah in spirit and truth
For He demands exclusive devotion

Obedience
In the hands of an unrighteous man
Even God’s law can seem unjust
We must do all that we can
To show that in God we still trust
Injustice must be resisted
But only as God directs
The devil’s ways are twisted
His methods we reject
When caser’s law opposes
We side with God each time
We show faith just like Moses
Obedience is not a crime
If we obey God in all things
Under trial we will prevail
We’ll enjoy the peace that faith brings
Obedience will never fail
