Please contactEnvironmental Health (EH) at (916) 875-8440 todetermine if a health permit is required.You must submit plans to Environmental Health, Plan Reviewsection, located at 10590 Armstrong Ave., Mather, CA 95655anytime you Construct or remodel a building into a new foodestablishment, orRemodel an existing food establishment.A building permit is required prior to any construction orremodeling work being done.In order to obtain your building permit you must submit plans tothe local Building Inspection Department (BID) after submitting toEnvironmental Health, Plan Review section. Water heater size, type andlocation.Floors, cove base, walls and ceilingsmaterials.Overhead lighting location and type. Inaddition, all construction must be finished and the equipmentinstalled and operational prior to calling for your health permitinspection from EH.
