How do I activate The <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan on my account?• Customers will follow the steps below to activate the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong>.o Step 1:• Dial *156# and ‘Send’.Customer will then receive a SMS advising of the different rate plans to selectfromo Step 2:• To select the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan dial *156*20# and ‘Send’.Customer will then receive a SMS directing them to confirm activation.o Step 3:• To confirm dial *156*1# and ‘Send’.Customer will then receive a SMS stating that the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan has beenactivated.5. When using bonus credit, will I be charged for local calls at this rate?• Yes. Once you have activated The <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan, local calls madeusing bonus credit will be charged using the $8.99 per minute rate.6. Are Corporate Prepaid account customers required to use the dialing prefix *949 whenmaking a call?• Yes. Corporate prepaid customers are required to dial *949 before the numberbeing dialed in order to access the rate.7. Will I still qualify for <strong>Gimme</strong> Five when the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan is active on myaccount?• Yes. Customers will still qualify for all <strong>Gimme</strong> Five promotional offers.


8. If I am on a VIP plan, will I be charged for local calls at this rate?• Yes. Once you have activated the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan local calls madewithin the VIP Plan will be charged using the $8.99 per minute rate. The VIP planwill cost the same. You will however have more minutes due to the new low perminute rate.9. I no longer want the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan how can I remove it from my account?• To remove the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan from your account dial *156*20*6#from your handset. Once The <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan is removed from youraccount local mobile and landline calls will be charged at the Brawta Plan(formerly the Standard Rate) peak and off peak rates• Customers must wait 24 hours after the last activation date before they are ableto dial *156*20*6# to remove The <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan from their account.Once this 24 hours requirement is met the feature will be removed immediately.• Customers who try to opt out before the 30 day period will not be able to do soand will receive a message advising of same.10. I had removed the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan from my account, can I re-activate thefeature?• Yes, the customer can reactivate The <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Rate Plan by using theactivation code, *156#.• This can be done at any time after de-activation.• Each time a customer activates the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan they will only beallowed to remove it 24 hours after the last activation was done.11. Does this service expire?• No. Access to this rate will not expire. Therefore the customer will not berequired to re-activate.• Customers who wish to remove the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan from their account maydo so any time after 24 hours of the last activation. (see question 8 above)


12. Is there a fee or subscription associated with <strong>Digicel</strong>’s <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong>?• No. There is no recurring subscription fee or one off activation fees associatedwith the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan. Once subscribed, simply call Any Local Number onAny Network, Anytime for only $8.99 per minute with the <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 <strong>Extra</strong> plan.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PREPAID CUSTOMERS APPLICABLE TO THEDIGICEL GIMME 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Plan1. <strong>Digicel</strong> GIMME 5 <strong>Extra</strong> Plan (“The Plan”) is a special per second plan availablefor the benefit of all <strong>Digicel</strong> Prepaid Customers except as set out below(‘Customers’).2. The Plan is available to prepaid Customers from June 14 th 2013 and shallcontinue until such date as otherwise determined by <strong>Digicel</strong> in its sole discretion.3. Customers must ‘opt in’ to participate in the Plan by dialing the USSD shortcode *156# on their mobile handset then press ‘send’.4. Customers are not charged for opting in to or opting out of the Plan and thereis no recurring subscription fee. 5. The Plan entitles Customers to avail of an 8.99per second rate for on-net (<strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong>) calls and Off-Net (<strong>Digicel</strong> to Limemobile and fixed line) calls, irrespective of the time of day.6. All other calls will be billed to Customers at <strong>Digicel</strong>’s standard rates as time totime in force.7. Once a Customer ‘opts in’ to the Plan, they shall remain subscribed until eitherthe Customer choses to ‘opt out’ in accordance with these terms and conditionsor if <strong>Digicel</strong> has in its sole discretion withdrawn the Plan.8. Once Customers activate the Plan, they must remain subscribed to the Plan fora minimum period of thirty (30) days after activation of the Plan, before they areable to opt out in accordance with these terms and conditions or if <strong>Digicel</strong> has inits sole discretion withdrawn the Plan. The Plan shall automatically renew forsuccessive thirty (30) day periods. Notices by Customers to opt out of the Planshall only be effective at the end of the last 30 day subscription cycle on whichthe Customer is subscribed.9. Customers who elect to opt out of the Plan may do so by dialing *156*20*6#send. The Customer shall receive a text message notification indicating the dateand time on which the “opt out” selection shall take effect. Customers who “optout” of the Plan will be automatically re-provisioned to the Brawta Plan.10. Calls made by Customers to any other numbers (i.e. toll free, special service,premium rated numbers, international destinations etc…) not specified in theseterms and conditions, will continue to be charged at <strong>Digicel</strong>’s prevailing ratesand are not eligible for the special voice rate per second charges or value offersunder the Plan.11. Customers subscribed to the Plan are not eligible to participate or benefitfrom <strong>Digicel</strong>’s <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 promotion, except as otherwise stated and DoubleBubble offers.12. Customers who are subscribed to the Plan will however benefit from:


a. <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 (Talk for 5 Minutes - <strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> Calls and Get 55<strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> Minutes Free,b. <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 International (Talk for 5 International Minutes and Get 25International Minutes Free),c. <strong>Gimme</strong> 5 SMS (Send 5 <strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> SMS and Get the Next 200<strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> SMS Free),d. Prepaid Free Nights,e. First of the Month Loyalty Bonus (i.e. Customers shall receive $100credit to their main account on the first top up for the month and anadditional $100 bonus credit to their bonus credit account which can onlybe used for making <strong>Digicel</strong> to <strong>Digicel</strong> calls and expires twenty four (24)hours after the additional $100 bonus credit has been added to the bonuscredit account),f. Cash Back Bonus;g.h. Free Data during the Free Nights Offer.13. Customers shall continue to earn loyalty points while subscribed to the Plan.14. Customers shall be able to utilize the Credit U Service while subscribed to thePlan.15. Special Corporate and WiMAX customers are excluded and not eligible forparticipation in the Plan.16. Calls that are a part of any other discounted call offer are excluded from thePlan.17. The Plan does not apply when the Customer is roaming and is only validwhen the Customer is making calls in <strong>Jamaica</strong>.18. Customers subscribed to the Plan are eligible to receive Diaspora (Retail andOnline) Top Up and Double/Triple Bubble offers from the Diaspora.19.Customers shall pay the applicable taxes per minute or part thereof for callsmade from his or her handset.20. The Plan only applies to voice calls and does not apply to text messagesexcept as may be specifically provided otherwise.21. <strong>Digicel</strong> reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary theterms and conditions of the Plan, to amend its terms and conditions, or towithdraw the Plan. In the event of <strong>Digicel</strong> giving notice to Customers of any suchchanges to, withdrawal or cancellation of the Plan, it shall suffice for <strong>Digicel</strong> togive Customers notice via messages to Customer handsets or to post suchnotification on <strong>Digicel</strong>’s website. Any such notification shall be effectiveimmediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.


22. The general Terms and Conditions governing the relationship between<strong>Digicel</strong> and <strong>Digicel</strong> FLEX Customers remain applicable.
