This product is designedexclusively for use with<strong>BOB</strong> <strong>Revolution</strong> <strong>and</strong>Stroller Strides strollers.It is not intended for usewith other strollers orproducts.. The Sun Shield is notdesigned to work withoptional Infant Car SeatAdapter <strong>and</strong> car seat.. Never leave childunattended.. The Sun Shield reducesthe exposure to <strong>sun</strong> <strong>and</strong>heat but does not eliminateit. Avoid exposing yourchild to prolonged <strong>sun</strong> <strong>and</strong>heat.. It is possible for smallinsects to enter through thesmall gaps between the<strong>shield</strong> <strong>and</strong> the stroller.. When not in use, keep outof reach of children.. Set stroller Parking Brake(refer to Parking Brakesection of stroller Owner’sManual). Place the <strong>sun</strong>canopy into position toreceive the Sun Shield asshown in Fig. 1.2. Pull canopy draw stringin order to gather extramaterial under canopy.Cinch cord lock againstcanopy to retract <strong>and</strong> holdmaterial in place, as shownin Fig. 2.Very important: when theSun Shield is used, therear canopy flap must berepositioned as describedbelow to insure properairflow <strong>and</strong> ventilation foryour child.3. Locate rear canopy flap<strong>and</strong> fold forward. Attachcanopy flap Velcro on flapto respective Velcro mateon top outboard sides ofcanopy as shown in Fig. 3).Warning tag on rear canopyflap also describes <strong>and</strong>illustrates this critical step.4. Inspect opening at backof stroller to make sure theair passage between top ofseat back <strong>and</strong> canopy i<strong>sun</strong>obstructed (see Fig. 4).We recommend recliningseat back slightly tooptimize airflow (refer toReclining Seat section ofstroller Owner’s Manual).5. Place Sun Shield on thestroller so the rear flapdrapes over back (betweenthe h<strong>and</strong>lebars) <strong>and</strong> theseam above the window isaligned with the forward SunCanopy support (see Fig.5).6. Stretch the elastic cordon each side under eachrespective black shock knobas shown in Fig. 6. Thereis an opening mid way upeach side (with silverreflective fabric on eachend) where the elastic cordis exposed.7. side of stroller, as shown inFig. 6 (right side shown).The cord locks allow theloop to be enlarged orreduced, thereby adjustingthe tension.8. Stretch <strong>and</strong> hook thefront elastic edge of the SunShield evenly under the lipof the plastic nose on thestroller. Keep edge abovered swivel lockout knob(see Swivel Lockout sectionof Owner’s Manual).Position <strong>BOB</strong> Logo incenter over nose of thestroller (Fig. 7).9. Stretch each elasticedge of the Sun Shield <strong>and</strong>route under eachrespective side of frametube as shown in Fig. 7.10. Center rear flap of SunShield on stroller h<strong>and</strong>lebar.Inspect air passage abovestroller seat. Make sure airopening is not obstructed(Fig. 8).11. To place passengerinto the stroller, pull the frontof the Sun Shield off thenose of stroller, then lift up,stretch <strong>and</strong> roll over theforward edge of strollercanopy as shown in Fig. 9.This will temporarily holdthe Sun Shield out of yourway while you place thechild into the seat.12. Once your child issecured in the safetyharness (refer to yourstroller Owner’s Manual,Seat Safety Harnesssection), release the SunShield from canopy <strong>and</strong> resecureunder the lip on thestroller nose <strong>and</strong> underframe sides. The <strong>Revolution</strong> Sun Shieldis warranted for one yearfrom the date of originalpurchase.. Warranty is only valid forthe original purchaser.. Proof of purchase isrequired to exercise thiswarranty.. Labor <strong>and</strong> freight chargesare not included.. Normal wear, neglect,abuse, accidents, improperuse are not covered by thiswarranty.. Warranty claims must bemade through anauthorized dealer.. This warranty is limited tothe repair or replacementof the defective part. <strong>BOB</strong>shall in no event beresponsible forconsequential or specialdamages..
