Connecting to a SwitchConnecting the DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF to a DPP44 SwitchThe DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF can be connected to provide119°W, 110°W and 129°W satellite signals to a DISHPro Plus 44 switch. Refer to the instructions providedwith the switch for additional considerations andinstructions. Signal for a fourth satellite location mustbe provided directly from the fourth satellitelocation’s LNBF to the DPP switch. The LNB IN porton the DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF must not be connected. Inthis installation, the DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF defaults to thefollowing settings:• PORT 1 - 119°W• PORT 2 - 110°W• PORT 3 - 129°W• LNB IN - Disabled when DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF isconnected to a switch. When connected to aswitch, any LNBF connected to the LNB IN portmust be disconnected from the DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBFand connected directly to the switch.Note: The DPP <strong>1000.2</strong> LNBF is NOT compatible with DISH Pro switches in any installation.Connecting three DP Dual (or DP Single) LNBFs to a Switch when using the Three-LNBF BracketWhen using the Three-LNBF Bracket on the DISH <strong>1000.2</strong> withthree DP Dual (or DP Single) LNBFs, the LNBFs must beconnected to a switch to provide 119°W, 110°W and 129°W tothe installed receivers. Follow the LNBF and switch installationinstructions for additional considerations.Note: Legacy LNBFs and switches can be used with the Three-LNBF Bracket. Follow all instructions for that equipment if youchoose to use Legacy LNBFs and switches.Page 9
