Our timeenergies, etc., therefore, should be first and foremost inthis direction, for it was for this purpose that Gad predestinatedthe bride of Christ, that the various membersshould be in the image of Christ. -That is why Jesus said : "Seek ye ht the kingdomof -God and his righteousness." That is why the Apostlewrote : I count all things but loss for the excellency ofthe knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord." All the thingswhich the world considers so wonderful and desirable areloss and dross to us that we may win Christ, be madepartakers of his sufferings and conformable to his death,.and so share in his resurrection.
