Again, when you begin to mouldyour life in accordance with the will of God, the variousexperiences through which you pass, the opposition youreceive, the failures you make, and all the many trials anddifficulties which yon are bound to encounter on the narrowway, send you again and again to the Word of God forinstruction as well as for comfort and exhortation.Just as there are many branches in a good tree, so manybranches of knowledge require to be cultivated by the trueChristian who desires to be conformed to the image ofChrist. Seeking to know God, his glorious character andhis wonderful plan, and Christ, the express image of theFather, the true Christian develops branches of knowledgein the heavenly direction.
