This is in agreement with what we have seenScience to teach, namely, that- the " Ego," the realperson, the thinking part of man, is not indepcadeut of his organism.Adam was now able to see and hear and speak, tothink and walk and work. He was now a sentientbeing, a being endowed with sense-perception; andthus ,the best definition of a living soul that onecould give is that. it is a . sentient being. Thoseof you who have ~eference Bibles will see in themargin against the word " creature " the words :" Hebrew, soul." Then in the 30th verse of thesame chapter we read : '.' To every beast of theearth and to every fowl of the air and to everything that creepeth upon the earth wherein thereis life." Notice here also that in the margin againstthe word " life "' appear the words : " Hebrew, aliving soal."Clearly, then, the Bible agrees withB
