Our technical department has a well-established team of technically highly qualified specialists.<br />

Their well-founded expertise allows flexible and creative realizing of all requirements which are<br />

demanded for our product and services.<br />

Planning<br />

Already during the planning phase our technical department intervenes in the development of new products which<br />

are manufactured at our facility as well as at the facilities of our partners. This way, all marketing influences and<br />

customer requirements are entering immediately where the future direction for a successful product design is set.<br />

Development<br />

The development work is performed by creating a virtual<br />

machine model using most modern 3D CAD software.<br />

In doing so, beside the optimum functionality<br />

of the machine we also pay attention to the reusability<br />

of the data which are created during the development<br />

phase. Such data do not only serve to elaborate<br />

manufacturing documents and documentations, but<br />

also to calculate as well as for computer-aided manufacturing<br />

and to visualize and simulate the product.<br />

Testing in practice<br />

Our engineers combine theory and practice. We leave<br />

nothing to chance regarding the product satisfaction;<br />

application-specific tests are performed on all<br />

<strong>machines</strong> and selected customers are consequently<br />

involved in this testing. In this way, any new product<br />

first has to prove itself during everyday work before<br />

it is included as a inherent part in our range of products.<br />

The technical analysis helps us to recognize and<br />

resolve any remaining weak points.

They combine <strong>CNC</strong>, PLC, operating and axis<br />

control functions on a compact and robust<br />

unit<br />

of a fault due to the integration of the safety functions<br />

in the drive and control. Among others, the<br />

safe monitoring of speed, standstill and position<br />

are integrated.<br />

ShopMill is a tailored technology package for all standard <strong>CNC</strong> milling <strong>machines</strong> used worldwide.<br />

The main focus of these <strong>machines</strong> is on the production of individual parts and small series. ShopMill offers a simple operation of the<br />

machine tool suitable for skilled workers.<br />

All operating actions are supported by help graphics.<br />

The functions in the manual mode allow rapid, practice-oriented setting-up of the machine for the operation. These are in particular<br />

ShopTurn<br />

In ShopTurn <strong>machines</strong> are rapidly set up and workpieces and tools are rapidly measured. The operating and programming software<br />

ShopTurn distinguishes itself by a graphically supported programming and <strong>working</strong> schedule preparation, by means of<br />

which it is possible to manufacture a workpiece even without knowledge of DIN/ISO programming commands.<br />

It is possible to call a graphic overall representation of the workpiece from the <strong>working</strong> plan by a push of a button. With the help<br />

of this dynamic line graphic it is possible to rapidly identify and correct programming errors.<br />

In addition to new <strong>CNC</strong> Siemens is offering a multiple axis drive with<br />

the new Sinamics S120 Combi which is tailored to the demands of<br />

compact standard <strong>machines</strong> in the same way as the <strong>CNC</strong> controls.<br />

Robustness is an important feature for the Combi drive. In order to<br />

guarantee this among others the supply unit as well as the three to<br />

four motor modules are integrated in one housing. In this way, on the<br />

one hand the number of cabling interfaces is decreased, on the other<br />

hand a mutual cooling element provides for optimum heat dissipation<br />

– even if one of the performance parts is under full load. If the<br />

<strong>machines</strong> are used in tropical environmental conditions, the drives<br />

have to withstand tension and frequency variations in the power<br />

network without malfunctions beside heat resistance and condensation<br />

tightness. The Sinamics S120 Combi was also designed for these<br />
