Inhalation TreatmentThere are several courses of action for medical treatment ofpersons who have inhaled high levels of contamination.Refer to the section on “Lung Deposition” for clarification ofinhaled particle size related to where in the lung thoseparticles may be deposited.Anti-oxidantsAnti-oxidants may be used to counteract the influence of freeradicals formed as the result of radiation exposure.
