Fund StructureSpecial Recreation Tax - This fund is used for the purpose of paying associated expenses asrelated to increasing accessibility of facilities, and providing programming and personnelrelated costs to the operations of said programs. Revenue is generated through a special ta xlevy specifically for this purpose.Public Building Commission - Operating and Maintenance of Facilities – This fund is for thepurpose of operations and maintenance by the <strong>District</strong> for the Public Building Commission of<strong>Chicago</strong>’s facilities. Expenditures appropriated in this fund are designated for the operationsand maintenance at Soldier Field.Aquarium and Museum Operating Fund - This fund is for the amount of maintenance tax to belevied in conformity with provisions An Act in Relation to the Creation, Maintenance, Operationand Improvement of the <strong>District</strong> approved July 10, 1933, as amended and an act entitled An ActConcerning Aquariums and Museums in Public <strong>Park</strong>s approved July 18, 1933, title as amendedby an act approved June 24, 1935, as amended, for the purpose of operating, maintaining, andcaring for the institutions.Capital Project Administration Fund - This fund is for the purpose of tracking and allocatingpersonnel-related expenses for employees contributing to the <strong>District</strong>’s capital projects. Thisfund was established to fund the salaries, health, life and other personnel benefits foremployees who plan, administer, monitor and report on capital projects.The annual <strong>Budget</strong> Appropriations Ordinance outlines funding for capital expenditures.
