Checking before power-onCheck according to the following items before powering on the router.• Whether the connection between the power cord and PGND wire is correct.• Whether the voltage <strong>of</strong> the power supply complies with the requirement <strong>of</strong> therouter.• Whether the console cable is correctly connected, whether the PC or terminal forconfiguration is open, and whether the settings are done.Warning:Before powering on the router, the user should be aware where the switch <strong>of</strong> the power supply to the routeris located, so that the power supply can be disconnected in time once accidents occur.II. Powering on the routerTurn on the power switch <strong>of</strong> the router.III. Checking/Operating after power-onAfter the router is powered on, please perform the following inspection.1) Whether the LEDs on the front panel are normal.• In the process <strong>of</strong> the Power On Self Test (POST), the LEDs light in the followingsequence: SLOT0 to 2 and WAN0 are ON first. Then, if SLOT 1 and 2 are ON, itmeans that the memory test is successful. If SLOT 0 and 1 are ON, it indicates thefailure <strong>of</strong> the memory test.• For the status <strong>of</strong> the LEDs during normal operation after power-on, please refer toChapter 2 System Specifications.2) Whether the console terminal display is normal.The startup interface on the console terminal can be seen after the router is powered on(please see “Section 5.1.3 Startup Process” in this manual for reference).After the startup (in other words, self-test), the user is prompted to press .When “” is displayed, the user can proceed to configure the router.5-4
