<strong>Simrad</strong> <strong>SP90</strong>5 MENU DESCRIPTIONS5.1 IntroductionThis section provides a detailed description of the complete menusystem for the <strong>SP90</strong> sonar, and contains the chapters listed below.For an explanation of how to operate the menu system, refer to thesection Menu operation.The <strong>SP90</strong> comprises a large number of different menus on severallevels. Menus are selected by pressing their respective tabs on theright side, and the appearance of menus and tabs depends on thechosen operation mode and the current settings. The menu typescan be organised as follows:• Active menus are those relevant for each of the display modes.The active menus are available at all times selectable theappropriate tab.→ The Active menus are listed on page 57.• Temporary menus are the “sub-menus” activated by a buttonin one of the Active menus. (Examples are Cosmetics, Test,etc.)→ The Temporary menus are listed on page 64.• View pop-up menus are those activated by using the Viewbutton on the Sonar Operating Panel, or the middle mousebutton (provided a mouse is installed).→ The View pop-up menus are listed on page 69.• Object pop-up menus are those activated when you use theObject button on the Sonar Operating Panel, or the right mousebutton (provided a mouse is installed).→ The Object menus are listed on page 71.• View menus are those menus activated in the View pop-upmenus described above.→ The View menus are described on page 73.• Messages are those menus used to handle various messagesfrom the system to the user.→ The Messages are described on page 77.The chapter Menu structure gives a description of the menu systemconfiguration with references to more detailed descriptions of allthe menu.→ The Menu structure is described in more detail on page 54.52 850--164511 / B
