<strong>Simrad</strong> <strong>SP90</strong>2 DISPLAY MODES2.1 IntroductionThis chapter describes the <strong>SP90</strong> display modes. The various modesrepresent the graphical presentation of sonar data.Nine different display modes are generated to present the bestpossible presentation and flexible choices for a large range of userapplications.Display mode selection is made on the second menu button in themain menu. The four first display modes shown can also easily beselected with the four Mode buttons on the Sonar Operating Panel.Refer to the following pages for detailed descriptions of theoperational modes.→ Bow Up, page 13.→ North Up, page 14.→ True Motion, page 15.→ 180° / Audio, page 16.→ 270° / Vertical, page 17.→ Bow Up / Vertical, page 18.→ True Motion / Vertical, page 19.→ Dual 1, page 20.→ Dual 2, page 21.Note that the descriptive order of the display modes in this chapterhas been chosen only to simplify the descriptions. In operationalconditions, the order of the display modes depends on the selectedgear (seine net, bottom trawl or pelagic trawl) This is becausedifferent initial display modes are used for easy selection by thefour Mode buttons on the Sonar Operating Panel.
