Maintenances7 ON-BOARD MAINTENANCE7.1 IntroductionThis section deals with maintenance work that may be carried outby the user. In addition to cleaning the cabinets and dust filters, youshould inspect the sonar room at least once a week. The ventilationand heating system, as well as the bilge pump arrangement shouldthen be checked to be in good working order.For location and replacing of fuses, refer to the chapter for the unitin question.Major repairs and complete overhaul of the sonar should be left toan authorized Simrad service engineer.850--164511 / B147
