<strong>Simrad</strong> <strong>SP90</strong>Message BarThe Message Bar button is located in the System test menu. Thismenu is accessed by pressing the Test... button on the Setup menu.The sonar automatically issues messages when a disturbanceoccur. The messages are grouped into four categories; Errors,System alarms, Operational alarms and Warnings. TheMessage Bar parameter dialogue is used to select at which levelwarnings and alarms shall be presented.The Message Bar is located at the bottom of the display, and itcontains four buttons, one for each category of messages. Thesebuttons give an overview of the number of unread messagescurrently in the system. Each of the four buttons gives access to amenu where each message can be read, acknowledged and deleted.→ Warnings, page 78.→ Operator alarms, page 79.→ System alarms, page 80.→ Errors, page 81.When no messages are present, the four buttons are grey. Whenone or more unread messages exists, the Warning andOperational Alarm buttons are yellow, while the System Alarmand Error buttons are red.108 850-164511 / B
ParametersModeThe Mode button is located on the top of every menu.The Mode parameter dialogue is used to select display mode. Itwill automatically provide a selection between the modes currentlyavailable on the sonar.The various dipslay modes are described in the Display Modeschapter.→ Refer to page 12.The modes can also be selected with the four Mode buttons on theSonar Operating Panel.
