ParametersExternal SynchronizingThe External Synchronizing button is located in the Setup menu.The External synchronization function makes it possible toeliminate interference from other <strong>Simrad</strong> sonars on board thevessel. If the sonars are connected together, you can use thesesettings to synchronise their transmissions.Two options are available.Sync mode - Select None, Slave or Master.• None disconnects the <strong>SP90</strong> from the synchronisation system,.The sonar will then operate completely on its own.• Slave connects the <strong>SP90</strong> as a slave to an external system. Theexternal system will then instruct the <strong>SP90</strong> to when it cantransmit.• Master allows the <strong>SP90</strong> to be in control- The sonar will theninstruct the external system on when it can transmit.Delay - Select the delay between the <strong>SP90</strong> transmission and thetransmission of the external system, or vice versa.Separate parameter dialogues are used to make the choices.850-164511 / B99
