What makes YASKAWA a leaderin Servo TechnologyThe company always shows its dedicationby supplying high quality productsand services. YASKAWA Servo Drivesprove it with high levels of reliability andexceptionally low failure rates. With the release of its new ∑-V (Sigma-5) Series, YASKAWA has once againshown proven technological expertiseand exceptional application suitability. The combination of compact size, highdynamics and efficiency, low maintenanceand outstanding reliability cover all customerdemands.Extensive research and developmenthas allowed YASKAWA to remain at theforefront of motion control and automationtechnology. This technological leadershiphas helped to modernise industries suchas mining, steel, cement, pulp and paper, chemical, automotive, packaging, machinetool and semiconductor.YASKAWA was the first manufacturer offactory automation and drive products thatrecognised the importance of combiningand integrating mechanical, electronic andsoftware engineering to optimise processand factory automation. ”Mechatronic“ asa concept was first adopted in 1972 by aYASKAWA engineer named Tetsuo Mori. Itis a synonym for the close interaction andintegration of the three areas of engineering.Today, Mechatronics is a key science in thefield of industrial automation. With the production of more than 700,000servo drives per year, YASKAWA is one ofthe biggest manufacturers worldwide.About YASKAWA ServosResearch and development hasbeen a major concern in thecompany's history.Great effort and inspiration hasled to great inventions:1966First DC Servo Drive with largecapacity1983First AC Servo Drive rangefor machine tool and roboticmarkets1990First fully digital AC Servo Drivewith precise speed, torque andposition control/SERIES SERVOMOTOR TYPE / SERVOPACK TYPE – LINEAR ∑-SERIES∑ -V (SGDV)SGMJV/SGMAV/SGMGV/SGMEV/SGMSVLinear ∑ (SGDV, SGDH)Function and PerformanceDC Power Input ∑ -II (SGDJ)SGMBH/SGMMJ/SGMAJ∑ -II Standard (SGDH)SGMMJ/SGMAH/SGMPH/SGMSH/SGMGH∑ -II Large Capacity(SGDH)SGMVH/SGMMJ/SGMAJFunction and PerformanceSGTSGLGWSGLFWSGLTWSGLCJUNMA (SJDE)SJME0.003 0.01 0.03 0.1 0.3 0.75 3 7.5 15 30 55 ...._________________Small_________________ _______Medium_______ _____Large________SGTMMSGTFM0 10 15 25 100 1000 5000 8000_________________ Peak Force (N) ____________________________________________________Capacity (kW)_________________________________3
