It is made like the other, exceptthat the short end is passed twice round the otherlong part, instead of once, <strong>and</strong> then through bothloops thus formed.Leader Knot (Fig. in).—In this knot, theends, when snipped off close, are firmly held in themiddle <strong>and</strong> guarded on each side by two round turnscf gut; consequently the leader slips smoothly overor through obstacles.
