1947 Humanoid Reports. The beginning of the modern era, 1947brought us “Roswell” and other interesting happenings. But humanoids had beenseen before and crashes mentioned also in previous years. Methinks Roswell is justthe proverbial “tip of the iceberg”, are we talking intergalactic warfare here?Following is a list of known humanoid encounters for 1947.Dead aliens?1.1

operators at the consoles. Her walk was athletic with long, determined strides. Itwas at this time that they became aware of what type of foot gear she was wearing.They were black boots that fit like a glove with a sensible low and wide heel. Theupper part of the boot was well above her ankle. She was quite beautiful in heroutfit. In fact it did appear that all the uniformed personnel were quite handsome inappearance. The console operators appeared to be much more slender and shorterthan the Commander and the woman, who was perhaps second in command.The tall woman seemed to be engrossed in making notes upon the papers that sheheld. She would return back to the blackboard and inscribe additional script uponit. They also noted that at times she would appear to make a mistake with her chalkand would use the edge of her right hand to erase her mistake---quite a humanmethod, they thought. At one point the Commander went over to the consoleoperators, leaned over them as if to be correcting or making adjustments himself.He was so tall, had a big chest and shoulders with a slim waist, and move like anathlete. Then to the left side of the ship, it appeared that the civilians that they hadseen before were now lined up single file. One of the male operators was standingfacing them with his back up against a large hatch-type door. He had in his handwhat looked like a plain old martini glass that contained a clear liquid. First in linewas the balding, older gentleman. He was given the glass and it looked like he wasordered to drink its contents and he promptly obeyed. When he finished, the blondmale turned and opened the hatch from which emitted the most intense bright,white light that the boys had ever seen. The older man entered and the hatch wasclosed. Each civilian in turn went through the same ceremony, even the man withthe skeletal skull. They don’t know how he accomplished the drink, but he poured itin his skull. It went fast until it became the Captain’s turn. They could see his fulllength now. He was wearing what the military of that era called “Pink’s” lightcolored pants that were almost khaki. His jacket was of a color that looked likemaybe a dark green, perhaps more olive green. He was wearing what was known asa Sam Brown belt, thin and coming across his right shoulder and chest connected toa typical wide garrison belt. The whole ensemble was a brown color. He seemed tobe arguing with the tall blond male and it appeared that the Captain was not goingto drink the liquid in the glass. He would raise his left hand palm up, seeminglypushing the proffered glass away from him. The blond male departed and at thispoint the Captain turned around, looked at the boys, smiled and just shook his headback and forth as if commenting on the blond male. Then the Commander appearedand seemed to argue with the Captain, shaking his finger in the Captain’s face. TheCaptain seemed to be clenching and unclenching his fist. He appeared to stick hisfinger in the Commander’s chest to emphasize something and it looked like the twowere shouting at each other. The boys were waiting, half expecting the Captain topunch the Commander, as the Captain was also pretty large in stature. It appearedthat the Captain definitely did not want to drink the liquid and leave. Eventually theCommander got the Captain calmed down. The Commander reached behind asmall cubicle located to the right of the hatch, which they had not noticed before.The Commander produced a glass that contained the clear liquid and offered it tothe Captain. This time, the Captain accepted putting the glass to his mouth anddrank the contents. The hatch was then opened up by the Commander and the8

9.Location. Platonovo, Oryel Region, RussiaDate: 1947 Time: late night7-year old Mikhail Zybunovskiy while sleeping was suddenly awakened by a softnudge on his side. He opened his eyes and saw a tall entity dressed completely ingreen. The entity also wore a cap on his head that shone with a weak orange light.The entity looked like a “soldier”. They boy was very frightened and awoke hismother. She saw the entity also. She asked, “Who are you, Why are you here” in atrembling voice. The entity did not respond. He stood wordless in the same place.The mother rushed into the children’s room grabbed her daughter and hid herunder the blanket. The boy hid under the other blanket. The woman began askingthe alien again who he was and how he had entered the house. The alien then madea deep breathing sound and vanished in plain sight. Date: 1947 Time: late nightAt an unspecified rural location Henrique Moreira was returning home fromvisiting his girlfriend when he entered a clearing and came face to face with a smallscintillating luminous sphere, suddenly from out of the nearby brush dozens ofother spheres appeared, bright white ones and black ones that suddenly proceededto “attack” the witness violently striking his body on numerous occasions. Terrified,Henrique fought off the spheres and ran to a nearby railway station. At the stationthe attendant was stunned to find numerous bruises on Henrique’s body and hisclothing completely tattered to shreds. The witness was by nowhysterical and the strange woman in apparent attempt to assure her took thewitness throughout her house, but instead of walking it felt as if they were floatingjust above the floor. Everything appeared normal in the house and she saw the restof her family sleeping peacefully. Her next recollection was waking up to everythinglike it should have been. Her sisters were in the room with her. He would have described it as a big dogif it weren’t for the fact that it was “loping” along, with that sort of sinuous lope oneconnects with cats rather than dogs. It went behind the mound, or barrow, and hewaited for it to appear in the other side, but it didn’t. Papago Indian Reservation, northwestern ArizonaDate: January 1947 Time: around 1700Two friends, WH (on Navy leave) and CC (just out of the Army) were on a jeepscoutingtrip looking for desert property. It was growing dusk and while travelingon a dirt trail they encountered Air Force personnel armed with carbines.Challenged by a second Lt. they were asked for identification and their reasons forbeing in the area. While parked during the interrogation, WH could see othermilitary personnel about a quarter of a mile away grouped around an object thatappeared to be partially sunk into the sand. It was disk-shaped with a glassy domeon top, about 30 ft in diameter and with 3 landing legs. On its outer edge were 2rings, which seemed to have windows in between them. The military appeared tohave just arrived at the site. There was no evidence of an encampment or of anyheavy equipment, at least from their point of view on the trail. The militarypersonnel had obviously just arrived at the crash site from an air base near Phoenix.Other data indicates that the disk was dragged for a long distance and finally movedto Muroc (later Edwards) AFB where it was placed inside hangar # 27.Transportation of the disk was not too difficult as a result of its size and of its lightweight nature. Another piece of data comes from revelations of top scientist usingthe pseudonym of “Dr. Epigoni” who was interviewed by Ron Madeley. “Epigoni”used to work in Edwards AFB starting in the late 60ties until 1971 or 1972, and thedisk from the Arizona crash site was apparently still being kept in Edwards, at thetime inside a large hangar on the surface and apparently it was still unopened. Therecovery and subsequent study of the disc was done under a covert operation named“Blue Haven”. The dome on top of the disk appeared to be made out of a glass-likematerial and using flashlights instruments, and four seats were visible through thedome. The disk was totally seamless. Another witness an air force sergeant toldReilly Crabb (president of the Borderland Science Research Foundation in VistaCalifornia) that in 1967 he had seen a disk-shaped craft stored in a surface hangarin Edwards AFB, sitting on high landing gear with sharp edges and sloping up to adomed cockpit area in the center, and was probably 25-30 ft in diameter, with airforce personnel in blue coveralls milling all around it. According to Epigoni, 4 aliencreatures were found lying down on the ground outside the disk, but the disk itself14

was tightly closed, with no visible entryway. The aliens were about 5 ft tall, withlight brown skin, dressed in silvery looking coveralls, real bright in color. Their eyeswere like that of a dog, black in color, apparently covered with black lenses. Theyhad small ears, noses and mouths with teeth. Blood samples indicated that theirblood was black and very thick, like oil. The bodies were also x-rayed. They had sixfingeredextremities. The bodies were kept in a special highly secured and isolatedbiomedical facility in Edwards AFB beyond several decontamination rooms.Research scientists came to the conclusion that since there was no deterioration ofthe bodies and they were apparently not dead, they would live the bodies intact andwould not perform autopsies, since another spacecraft might come into the area, asthey presumed, and rejuvenate or reactivate them and at such time they may openthe disk and allow the scientists in. Apparently these aliens have been in a state ofsuspended animation for many years and research personnel had attempted to enterthe disk, but without any results. Presumably, as a result of at least 25-30 years offutile attempts to open the disk, the spacecraft was moved to a special undergroundchamber in Edwards and kept totally frozen in liquid nitrogen in a state ofconservation until the day when it could be opened by a more powerful tool thatwould not destroy or substantially damage it. Inside it was the bodies of three humanoid beings with oversized heads andlarge, black eyes. ROS: “8”Comments: Recently additional information has come to light. The witness was only18 at the time and was a pilot. Flying over a field, (Plains of Saint Agustin?)reflections from metal scattered around caught his eye, he thought he saw somebodies and assumed he had come upon an airplane crash. He circled around andlanded on a nearby field and walked towards a rancher’s house and told him of theapparent crash. He, the rancher and the rancher’s young son, started out for the siteand he then told the father of the bodies at which point they turned around and tookthe son back to the ranch before returning to the site. He said material was scatteredall over, although there was enough of the front end of the craft intact that he couldtell it was “egg-shaped”, with the pointed end of the egg pointing in the forwarddirection. There were three bodies (all dead) in what was left of the front end of thecraft. The bodies were small (about 4’) with oversize heads, no hair, and large blackeyes, with no pupils. He said he pulled back an eyelid to see if there was a white as inours, but found that although it was lighter colored, there were no “white of theeyes.” Their clothing was elastic-like, no buttons or zippers. When asked about skincolor, he said that it reminded him of some American Indian coloring which has aslight blue to it. Something that impressed him profoundly about the craft was itsplainness on the inside. There was no food, no toilet, only a bench seat, and nobuttons, levers or instrumentation. There was, however part of the wall which juttedout like a smoothly-connected table which had a slight discoloration to it, andseveral simple symbols on it, and above it a slightly discolored part of the wall.Later in life when he saw touch-screen computers, he thought that perhaps that waswhat he was seeing, but of course he would not recognize it at the time. Although nowiring was seen, hanging from the sheared-off sections of the craft’s wall were thickplastic-like threads, which again at the time were unrecognizable, but which hewould now say were like optical fibers. They could not be broken by hand, but couldbe cut. There seemed to be a “wiring” path of these threads between the roof of thecraft, down through the wall, and to a set of six coffee cup-sized, gyroscope-likedevices, evenly spaced around the floor of the craft, at wall’s edge, which weremounted in gimbals that could rock in all directions. On the roof of the craft therewas a slight discoloration area with a row of dots, and a symbol beside each dot. Helikened it to a solar panel. As far as the structure was concerned, he stated that thewalls appeared to be porcelain-like material, one inch thick, with 0.020” metal foilon both the inside and outside. However the material including the “porcelain” wasso light it seemed to hardly have any weight at all. At some point others showed upto take command of the situation. When he said that he wanted to go home, theytold him he would have to stay around until at least the next day.16.Location. Southwest of Socorro, near White Sands Proving Grounds New MexicoDate: May 31 1947 Time: 2100A dozen or so Indian children from the Laguna Reservation wear playing aroundGallup and had climbed on the water tower of the Santa Fe Railroad, enjoying acool spot on a very hot day, when suddenly the whole sky lit up like daytime,reported one of the female witnesses, and in less than 4 seconds a “big ball of fire”glided silently over their heads northwest to southwest, disappearing in the directionof Socorro. “It was white, glowing white, like fire, as if it was burning, and had asort of smoky film around, but it left no trail. It was big as the sun, round andabsolutely silent”. A female witness named Theresa had just stuck a quarter in hermouth and became so frightened that she swallowed it. The light was so dazzlingthat the young witnesses had to cover their faces with their hands. Two days later allthe children who sat on the water tower had blisters on their hands and arms thatlasted for a week. At the same time southwest of Socorro, rancher Fred Strozziobserved a falling “meteor” bigger than a “basketball”. At approximately the sametime, a group of workers, including Ralph Scheilbly, John Perry, John Jones fromthe Raymond Concrete Pile Company, were assembling their work at a job siteoutside of Socorro while on a government work project on road 60 or 2. They wereworking with a large pile driver machine located in the midst of the desert. The men19

were very busy assembling the tools when suddenly it was like an orange sun hadcome up, and then it was like the middle of the day. Then there was a big explosionon the far eastern end of the Plains of San Augustin. They could now see that at aslightly tapered rocky hill something was burning. The men then climbed into theirtruck and headed toward the brilliant ‘sun”. The drive had taken awhile and whenthey arrived there it was already 0500A. They found a lot of smoke over a large areaand the heat was intense. Ralph called out to see if anybody was hurt, but there wasno answer. The area was full of fire and hissing smoke. The smoke soon began toclear, and the men saw a sizeable circular metal structure which had apparentlycrashed on one side, and it was not an airplane. Lying on the ground were twobodies (in sight). There were broken parts where these small entities had fallen outof a big hole on the hull of the object. Very slowly Ralph and the other men walkedtoward the small beings, but could not approach because of the intense heat. “Theywere very small people and did not look like us” said Ralph in 1948 to his nieceKarolyn. “The people who saw this were stunned. One of the little figures moved”.At this time the fire had stopped, but the heat was still intense. One of the smallbeings then waved his left hand. They went closer to investigate and were shocked tosee the wreckage was that of a strange craft and definitely not an airplane, whichseemed to create a lot of smoke or dust around it. When the area cooled down themen were able to approach closer to investigate. And then:Early in the morning of June 1 1947, Grady L. “Barney” Barnett, a civil engineerwith the US Soil Conservation Service, who was assigned to the area at the time, wasdriving from Socorro to Magdalena when something shiny glowing afar attractedhis attention. He drove off the road, to the canyon and soon discovered a diskshapedcraft which had split opened. There he encountered Ralph Scheilbly and hiscompanions, standing near the disk. The disk seemed to be made of a metal thatlooked like dirty stainless steel. When Barnett approached for a closer look, henoticed several dead bodies outside the craft on the ground. They were dressed intight-fitting gray metallic suits. Soon 4 or 5 other people from an archeology digjoined Barnett and the others. Among them was a young student (later amateurarcheologist) Larry Campbell (known as Cactus Jack) who later reported to IrisFoster (café owner near Taos) that he had found an object “round and not very big”and near it lay four small creatures. Their blood was “like tar, thick and black” andwas sticking on their silver colored uniforms. Later at around 0700A a militaryconvoy from the White Sands-Alamogordo base appeared at the crash site. Therewere sirens, fire engines, and a large array of military vehicles. The retrieval teamhad promptly arrived from the nearby White Sands Proving Grounds, since radarshad probably tracked the crashing UFO and also several witnesses had telephonedWhite Sands. The military personnel then escorted the civilian witnesses out of thearea. They told Barnett and the others to keep quiet about the incident, that it wasof national interest for them to get out of there and not to mention it. According toScheilbly the military promptly pushed the civilian witness back from the crash sitewhile some of the men frantically pointed out to the military that “there were livingones among the wreckage, that they must be helped” but they were ordered to“never mind”. Prior to Ralph and his men being hustled away by the Army theywatched one or more beings taken away in an ambulance. A military officer drove20

up in a truck with a driver and took control. He told everybody that the Army wastaking over and to get out of the way. Other military personnel came up andcordoned off the area. Civilians were told to leave the area and not to talk to anyoneelse about what they had seen that it was their “patriotic duty” to remain silent. Theoriginal witnesses, Ralph and the other workers, who had discovered the objectfirst, were rounded up and driven to a distant building on the territory of TheWhite Sands Proving Grounds, where the live aliens had been also delivered in aseparate vehicle. Ralph and his men were held incommunicado near a huge hangarwhere they at some point in time watched the wreckage being hauled away bymilitary vehicles. They were split up and questioned and then informed that theyhad not seen anything, that it had all been “a failed experiment”. The survivingaliens had been found clutching some box-like instruments and they had been takenfrom then by the military using strikes from the butts of rifles, whereby one of thebeings died. The other three were dragged away and tied up with a rope and tape.Then the debris was collected and loaded on to trucks and taken to White Sands.Some of the debris seemed to have come from exterior struts that were supporting avery small disk on the underside of the craft, which have snapped off when the diskflipped over. These struts bore strange hieroglyph like designs. Anglers were raising their nets with a catch of fish when they saw an object floatingon the water’s surface that looked like a black submarine. The men were frightenedat the object’s appearance, saying that it looked like a monster. They quickly startedthe boat’s engine. Suddenly a bright light from the “submarine” lit up the wholearea and “little men” began running over the deck of the object. The men couldmake out that the little men carried some sort of apparatus around their waists.They were about the size of a 10-year old boy. After a few minutes the little menentered the “submarine” which began to glow so brightly that the anglers could notsee it anymore. The witness fainted at this point andwhen she came to booth the man and the object were gone. Other independentwitnesses thought there had been a “crash” of some sort and remembered that USand Cuban military forces had cordoned off an area and had called for heavyequipment and trucks to come in. During reconstruction work in the city of Kiev that was substantially ruined duringWorld War II, construction workers sifting through the ruin’s foundationsaccidentally stumbled upon an extraordinary object at the location where the Kievconservatory was located. The object was buried 5-6 meters underground. Thestrange object was a silvery, seamless streamlined cylinder arrow-shaped object,about 3-3.5 meters in diameter and 5-6 meters long. Its rear part was evenly cutapparently torn from the other part of the object. The object had auxiliary narrowattachments on its sides that gave the object the appearance of an arrow. Thefinding was excavated and military field engineers were called out. The site wasimmediately cordoned off. It was speculated that the object could be some foreignmissile. In top secrecy, the object was loaded upon a truck platform, covered by atarpaulin and transported from the Ukraine to a Russian location named Podlipki, aplace located northeast of Moscow (later this city was called Kaliningrad and now itis the town of Korolyev in the vicinity of Moscow). There, the first Soviet missileresearch center was established. The finding received the most detailed study. It wasestablished that the object had been underground for several thousands of years(approximately 3,000 to 5,000 years). In fact the object was originally found in theXIX century or at the beginning of the XX century, long before the October 1917Revolution by the famous archeologist Vikentiy Khvoyka who discovered the socalledTripolian culture. The scientist ordered location to be dug up as deep aspossible; it was very difficult to extract the object from the hole in the ground. Thegovernor of Kiev was invited by the Tsarist Police and authorities to examine thefinding. He attentively inspected the object, but ordered buried again since he didnot dare take responsibility for such an extraordinary object impossible to explainor study during that time. In 1947, Soviet scientists and pioneer missile designerswere lucky to be able to study the re-discovered object with all its equipment intheir laboratory in Podlipki. Upon examination it was established that only the frontcockpit section of the craft had been found. Originally the craft must have beenaround 11-12 meters long. Unfortunately the engine compartment was in the sternpart that was never found. The front section had been cut away as if by a laserbeam. The craft was obviously not of terrestrial origin and of non-humanmanufacture, since it had 2 small chairs for two very small pilots that had beenobviously 1.2 meters in height (the cabin was empty and the bodies were neverfound). Sophisticated equipment, control instruments with levers, buttons, etc andpanels found inside. The strangest thing was the unknown inscription in anunknown language found inside the cabin. After deciphering the language it wasdetermined to have been ancient Sanskrit---or the ancient Indian language. Laterspeculation was that the object was some kind of ancient “Vimana” described inancient Indian manuscripts like the “Vimanika Shastra”, etc. Sergey PavlovichKorolyev, who later became an academician and a famous Soviet missile designer,headed the group that was created in top secrecy to study the discovered alienspacecraft. Reportedly he said to his colleagues about the finding, “The eye can see,but the teeth can’t chew”. This obviously referring to the fact that the craft wasextremely advanced above the level of science and technology of the USSR in 1947,and very little of its structure could be understood and almost nothing could bereplicated. engineering of the alien craft was conducted in 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Eventually, thefinding considerably promoted Soviet missile and space technology, including thedesign of metal alloys, instrumental design, control systems and some constructionelements. Amazingly and shockingly to the West, 10 years after the Kiev finding, in1957 Korolyev launched the first satellite (Sputnik) to space and in 1961---YuriGagarin was the first human astronaut. This was done by a country almostcompletely ruined and exhausted by Stalin’s repressions and by World War II andwas considerably behind the USA in aviation, space and missile technology. A ladder came out of theobject and three aliens descended from the bottom section of the disk, when theround hatch opened Bodnya clearly heard metal clacking. The aliens were very tall,close to 3 meters in height. They looked very much alike almost like twins. Theirfaces were elongated, large eyes, rounder than the humans, long noses, highforeheads, grayish-bluish skin, and thin lips. They were dressed in silver reflectingtight-fitting overalls with head covering. One of the aliens was obviously the leader,he was gigantic in stature with broad shoulders, at least one meter taller than theother two aliens, and he wore a sort of “apron” in front with a light on his breastarea. He was apparently giving orders to the other two. The giant had even whiteteeth, wide dense brown, large beard, and light brown hair, light colored eyes and apowerful voice. One of the younger crewmembers was obviously in great distress asa result of their misfortune and was mumbling something and crying. In a harshtone the giant leader ordered him to stop. The witness could not understand a thingbut the meaning was obvious. The transparent dome on top of the disk was lifted upin order to initiate the repair procedure. While being opened a melodic vibratingsound was heard. The witness noticed that the transparent dome was made out ofsome crystalline substance, extremely strong in appearance. The witness was alsosure that there was a fourth alien inside the disk, since the alien was leader gaveorders to someone inside using some kind of “microphone”. That fourthcrewmember was possibly a female who remained onboard the craft at all times. Allthe aliens wore some type of sophisticated device suspended on their chest area. Theleader stood in the center and the other two one on each side as they conducted therepairs. The stunned witness had observed the emergency landing and repair of thedisk hiding behind some shrubs with his horse. Suddenly his horse snorted loudlythis apparently gave away his location. The aliens immediately shone a green beamof light in his direction. He received a clear impression that he had beenphotographed. The aliens seemed very curious and seemed to be enjoyingthemselves, as they looked him and his horse over. After that the giant leader lookedat straight at Bodnya’s eyes and the 18-year old was suddenly able to hear thealien’s thoughts. The alien leader reproached him for hiding from them instead ofgreeting them like guests. His glance displayed kindness and understanding. Heinformed Bodnya that their craft had apparently been damaged by a lighting strikethat affected their flight control mechanism. Bodnya then said, “I invite you to eat,you must be hungry, I know what hunger is from my childhood.” The alienresponded, “I see, I see, you are small but brave, and who is that (pointing at thehorse).” That’s my horse Serko responded the witness. The alien then told thewitness that he was frightened of the horse and to leave it behind since he wanted tospeak to him alone. All onboardthe boat were watching these aircraft with a great deal of interest as they apparentlyhad no motors, propellers or any visible sings of propulsion, and to the best of theirhearing, they made no sound. In describing the objects Dahl estimated that theywere at least 100ft in diameter. Each had a hole in the center, approximately 25ft indiameter. They were all a sort shell-like gold and silver color. Their surface seemedof metal and appeared to be burled because when the light shone on them throughthe clouds they were brilliant; not all one brilliance, but many brilliance’ssomething like a Buick dashboard. equally spaced around the outside of their doughnut exterior. These portholes werefrom five to six feet in diameter and were round. They also appeared to have dark,circular, continuous window on the inside and bottom of their doughnut shape asthough it were an observation window. All onboard the boat were afraid that thecenter object would crash into the bay. This center object remained stationary atabout 500 feet from the water while the other five objects kept circling over it. Afterabout five or six minute’s one of the aircraft from the circling formation left itsplace in the formation and lowered itself down right next to the stationary aircraft.In fact it appeared to touch it and stayed stationary next to the center aircraft as ifwere giving some kind of assistance for about 3 or four minutes. It was then thatthey heard a dull thud, like an underground explosion or a thud similar to a manstamping his heel on damp ground. Immediately following the sound the centeraircraft began spewing forth what seemed like thousands of newspapers fromsomewhere on the inside of its center. These “newspapers” which turned out to be awhite type of very light metal, fluttered to earth, most of them alighting in the bay,and then it seemed to hail on the witnesses, in the bay and over the beach, black ordarker type of metal which looked similar to lava rock. They assumed that thismetal was also coming from the craft. However since these fragments were of adarker color, they did not observe them until they started hitting the beach and thebay. All of these latter fragments seemed hot, almost molten. When they hit the bay,steam rose from the water. They ran for shelter under a cliff on the beach andbehind logs to protect themselves from the falling debris. In spite of their protection,Dahl’s son was injured on the arm and the dog was hit and killed. They buried thedog at sea on their return to Tacoma. After this rain of metal seemed over, all ofthese strange aircraft lifted slowly and drifted out to the westward, which was out tosea. They rose and disappeared at a tremendous height. The center aircraft whichhad spewed the debris did not seem to be hindered in its flight and still remained inthe center of the formation as they all rose and disappeared out to sea. The menattempted to pick up several pieces of the metal or fragments but found them veryhot, but after some of them had cooled they loaded a considerable number of thepieces aboard the boat. They also picked up some of the metal which had looked likefalling newspapers. Curious events followed this encounter. The next day, early inthe morning, Dahl was visited and interrogated by a stranger who was driving ablack Buick car to his house. Dressed in a dark suit, was around 40 years old andHarold Dahl described him as “an insurance agent”. Dahl got out his own car anddrove downtown---with the stranger following him. Some of those specialists and scientists present were allowedcloser looks to what appeared to be 5 alien figures that were apparently still alive.They were about 5 ft tall, without hair, with big heads and enormous dark eyes,their skin was gray with a slight greenish tinge, but for the most part, their bodieswere not exposed, being dressed in tight-fitting silvery suits. But “Simpson” heardthat they had no navels or genitalia. One of the aliens stood out above the rest. Ithad a bilious green fluid oozing from its nostrils. Northeast of Capitan Mountains, Chaves County, New MexicoDate: July 4 1947Time: nightAccording to separate sources the Roswell base was closed to civilian traffic.Everything had to be done quickly. Near Corona rancher Mac Brazel haddiscovered something that had crashed there (on the Foster Ranch) most likelyremnants of a “Mogul” balloon that probably had nothing to do with the real crash.However the military took the discovery very seriously searched the area and founda spot where a long, almost oval object, about 20 feet wide had come down. Themilitary also found four dead bodies. The whole are was cordoned off by about 200men. Every square inch was combed for wreckage. They loaded all of it onto truckand brought it to the Roswell base, specifically Hangar 84. Near the wreck there wasa lot of debris. It consisted of some super strong metal. They tried to cut it and drillit, without success. “It was definitely not of this earth. Photographs reportedly seenlater showed black and white glossy prints, one showing a rather flat, oval shapedobject on the back of a flatbed truck. About 6 feet of the object projected out of theloading space on each side of the truck. The other shots showed the site, there was aheel shaped object, with its nose stuck between the rocks under a ridge. Accordingto different sources the crashed object was delta-shaped, resembling a flying wing.38

Identical to the one photographed by William Rhodes over Phoenix Arizona on July8 1947. Another witness interviewed by Stanton Friedman reported that he was anArmy Air Force photographer at Anacostia Naval Air station in Washington D.C.when he and a fellow photographer were hustled aboard an army B-52 bomber andflown to Roswell Army Air Field during the 2 nd week of July 1947. They wereordered to pack up their bags and told that cameras were waiting for them. Afterarriving at Roswell they got into a staff car with some of the gear with some of thegear the military had brought along and headed out about an hour and half north.When they got there they saw a large number of military personnel in a closed tent.They were then ordered to set the cameras and take pictures 15 ft away. The witnessgot in a truck and headed out to where the military men were picking up pieces ofwreckage. An officer in charge kept ordering him and his partner to shoot differentitems. An officer met them there and accompanied them everywhere they went.There were four alien bodies but inside the tent it was awfully dark. These fourbodies were under a canvas, and they opened it up to allow the witness to takepictures. According to the witness there were 10 to 12 officers and when he gotready to go in, they all came out. The tent was about 20-30 feet. The bodies lookedlike if they were lying on a tarp. As it appeared to the witness the bodies seemedidentical to each other, dark complexioned very thin with large heads. The smellinside the tent was very pungent. The witness then came back to the truck that wasloaded with the debris and both photographers were then debriefed on their wayback to Roswell. About 0400am the next morning they woke up and boarded a B-52back to Anacostia. At Anacostia they were debriefed again by a lieutenantcommander who said, “Whatever you think you saw in New Mexico---you neverseen it, it just didn’t happen. You did not leave Anacostia at all.” Shortly thereafterthe main witness was assigned to a project in Antarctica.Additional testimony came from Sgt Melvin E. Brown, a cook at the Roswell basewho was temporarily assigned to guard Hangar 84. He said that any men availablewere taken to clean the crash site. They had to form a ring around whatever theyhad to cover, and everything was put on trucks. They were told not to look and totake no notice, and were sworn to secrecy. According to Beverly Brown (daughter ofMelvin) her father could not understand why they wanted refrigerated trucks.Brown and another man reportedly sat on the back of the truck to take the items tohangar 84. The alien bodies were packed in ice. And when Brown lifted thetarpaulin and looked in he saw 2, or possibly 3 bodies, according to him, the bodieswere “friendly looking” and had nice faces. They looked a bit Asian but had largerheads and no hair. They were about 4 ft tall and their skin looked yellowish in color.Brown was frightened a bit, because he knew he shouldn’t be doing it, so he onlyhad a quick glimpse. But he reportedly said they could have passed for Chinese---because they had slanted eyes. Then Brown had to stand guard duty outside hangar84 and his commanding officer came up and said, “I want to have a look in. Letsboth have a look inside”. So they both went into the hanger, but they didn’t seeanything, as everything was packed away for storage, to be flown out the next day.Military records prove that Brown was stationed at Roswell at the time. Evidenceindicates that Brown was sworn to secrecy and paid well by the Government to keephis mouth shut.39

Another witness, Robert E. Smith was a member of the 1 st Air Transport Unit whichoperated Douglas C-54 Skymaster cargo planes out of the Roswell base. In a 1991interview he said that he saw the convoy of trucks with red lights and sirens,covered with canvas that headed over to a hangar on the east end, which was ratherunusual. Smith was taken to the hangar to load crates into 3 or 4 C-54’s and theloading took at least 6, maybe 8 hours. The procedure was unusual, with armedguards, MPs and etc. The largest crate was about 20 ft long, 4-5 ft high and 4-5 ftwide. Officially they were told it was a crashed plane, but crashed planes usuallywere taken to the salvage yard, not flown out. It wasn’t an experimental planeeither. (Smith was convinced that they had loaded a UFO that had mechanicalproblems). There was a lot of farm dirt on the hangar floor. Importantly, Smith saidthat he saw a little piece of metal that he could crumple up, let it come out, and hecouldn’t crease it. This piece of debris was 2-3 inches square, it was jagged. When hecrumpled it up, it then lay back out and when it did it kind of crackled, making asound like cellophane. There were no creases.Sappho Henderson, the wife of Capt Oliver Wendell “Pappy” Henderson, reportedthat her husband once confessed to her, “I want you to read this article (aboutRoswell crash) because it’s a true story. I am the pilot who flew the wreckage of theUFO to Dayton Ohio. I guess now they’re putting it on the paper. I can tell youabout this. I wanted to tell you for years”. Henderson reportedly described the alienbeings his plane was transporting as small with large heads for their size. He saidthe material that their suits were made of was different than anything he had everseen. He said they looked strange. The bodies were packed in dry ice. Pappy’sdaughter Mrs. Kathryn Groode, added that her father described the alien beings assmall and pale, with slanted eyes and large heads, saying that they were “humanoidlooking, but different from us”. Stanton Friedman found out that Henderson hadtalked about his mission to a number of old flight companions at a veteran’smeeting in Nashville in 1982, mentioning “small alien bodies”.Alpha Boyd, of Hobbs New Mexico, reported that in 1971 when her father was sickin a Roswell hospital, he told her of the time when he had been a civilian mechanicworking in a hangar (84) at the Roswell base in the summer of 1947 when hestepped outside for a smoke. He immediately noticed that there was a high state ofactivity going on with military personnel “scurrying around like ants”, and speedingvehicles seemingly all converging on the hangar he just come out of. Just then astretcher being carried by 2 men passed by him and went into the hangar. On thestretcher was what he at first took to be an injured child. But on closer examinationhe realized that it wasn’t human (it wasn’t anything from around here). It wasabout 4 ft in length, very thin, but with an enlarged head and had only 4 fingers. Hewas grabbed almost immediately by the military, taken quickly from the area andtold not to say anything about what he had seen. The next day Mr. Boyd injured histhumb on the job and went over to the base hospital to have it treated. While beingtreated he asked a nurse if she knew what was going on. She cautioned him that heshouldn’t be talking about such things. It was then that he noticed a foul smellpermeating the air in the hospital, after which he left. Mrs. Boyd confirmed that afew years after her father had passed away (1974), her brother told her the samestory.40

Sergeant Thomas L. Gonzalez told Don Ecker that he was one of the men sent out toprotect the crash site while the wreck was being salvaged. The craft had appeared tohim more like a wing than a conventional disk. Then he had seen what he called,“the little men from Mars”. They were basically like human beings, he emphasized,and only their heads and eyes had been much bigger. He also stated that once hehad a piece of this crashed UFO (statement confirmed by his children) and onecould not make a dent on it with the heaviest hammer or scratch it with the bestknife. Shortly after the incident Gonzalez was transferred overseas and that was thestart of hard times for him and his family. The stress of having to live with a secretbecame too much for him, but he got over it after a period.First Lieutenant Robert Shirkey, in his affidavit dated April 30 1991, stated that helearned later that “…a sergeant and some airmen went to the crash site and sweptup everything, including bodies. The bodies were laid out in Hangar 84.Henderson’s flight contained all the material”. All of those involved, he said, wereshipped out to different bases within two weeks.Ruben Anaya reported that he worked at the officer’s club at the Roswell base andhad a pass to the base. One evening, Anaya and his brother Pete were sitting with 2guests, when the telephone rang. At the other end was New Mexico’s lieutenantgovernor Joseph Montoya with a panic stricken voice, begging to pick him up out ofthe base. So they set off in a car, went to Hangar 84 and wanted to go in to meetMontoya. But they were not allowed, there were MPs and town police. ThenMontoya came out, white as a sheet, and really shook up, asking them to “get out ofthere”. As they arrived at Anaya’s home, Montoya (in Spanish) spoke about theUFO crash, saying, “There were four little men not from this world. One was alive”.He described the aliens as wearing silvery suits, with big eyes, disproportionatelylarge heads and very little mouths. According to Montoya the aliens had lain ontables in the middle of Hangar 84. One of them was still alive, had sighed and movedits hand slowly. Its legs were bent. Since doctors were standing near the table,Montoya could not get closer. But he could clearly see that the beings had no hair ontheir heads, that their skin was “white” and that they wore one piece-suit whichresembled those worn by divers. As far as Montoya could make out, they had fourlong fingers on each hand. Shortly after the beings were taken to the base hospital.Meanwhile pieces from the wreckage were brought in, they were only metallicfragments, none of which had looked like a large craft. Then he said,“Confidentially, they shipped everything to Texas, and those guys are in thehospital. Look if any of you guys says I talked about this, I am going to say you’rebunch of liars”. Later according to Ruben Anaya, all four of them---he, his brotherPete, Moses Burrola and Ralph Chaes were called personally by telephone bySenator Chavez, who had also called Frank Whitmore of radio station KGFL andsaid, “Joe Montoya was a damm liar. He didn’t see anything…it was a very, verysecret project, it could hurt us with Russia and Germany, if it comes out.”According to the words of Barbara Dugger, granddaughter of Sheriff Wilcox,sheriff of Roswell, there was a big burned area, and Sheriff Wilcox saw the debris.Reportedly, Wilcox also saw four “space beings” and “one of the little men wasalive”; “their heads were large”.41

According to another “deathbed confession” from the wife and 2 children of thelater Meyers Wahnee who was a pilot and Air crew commander of the 714 th BombSquadron, 448 th Bomb group, he spoke about the 1947 Roswell events during thelast year of his life (December 1981). He stated that the incident was true and thathe had been involved . He said that there were 3 separate sites. The bodies werefound and first flown to Texas (Carswell AFB at Fort Worth) and many of the mendisplayed fear. He also mentioned decomposing body parts.Captain Chester Barton, who was in the military service from 1929 to 1954,stationed at Fort Worth and Roswell, confirmed to the army historian Jose Stefulathat he heard about the bodies taken to the base hospital and that the recoveryoperation was very quick. In an interview with Kevin Randle in 1990, John G.Tiffany said that his father had been a part of the crew of the flight that had startedfrom Wright Field to pick up the material at Fort Worth. Investigation showed thatTiffany’s father was in fact stationed at Wright Field at that time. After landing atFort Worth they had loaded the wreckage and amongst these a big container thatlooked like a giant thermos bottle. The material had been very light, but very tough,with a glassy surface. During the whole flight the crew had tried to bend, break orscratch it, but in vain. When the “weather balloon” declaration appeared in thepapers, they could only laugh out loud. Later on his father had also learned about 3bodies, 2 mutilated, one intact. The aliens reportedly had “gentle features” and asoft skin, and wore a kind of flying suit. After that a high ranking officer hadinstructed them never to speak to anybody about the incident. “It never happened”.Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at the base in 1947 and wasthe man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on theorders of the base commander, Colonel William Blanchard. Haut died in 2008 butleft a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death. He described seeing not justthe craft, but alien bodies. Haut’s affidavit talks about a high level meeting heattended with base commander Col. William Blanchard and the Commander of theEighth Army Air Force, General Roger Ramey. Haut states that at this meeting,pieces of wreckage were handed around for participants to touch, with nobody ableto identify the material. He says the press release was issued because locals werealready aware of the crash site, but in fact there had been a second crash site, wheremore debris from the craft had fallen. The plan was that an announcementacknowledging the first site, which had been discovered by a farmer, would divertattention from the second and more important location. Haut also spoke about aclean up operation, where for months afterwards military personnel scoured bothcrash sites searching for all remaining pieces of debris, removing them and erasingall signs that anything unusual had occurred. This ties in with claims made by localsthat debris collected as souvenirs was seized by the military.Haut then tells how Colonel Blanchard took him to “Building 84” (hangar) one ofthe hangars at Roswell---and showed him the craft itself. He describes a metallicegg-shaped object around 3.6m-4.5m in length and around 1.8m wide. He said hesaw no windows, wings, tail, landing gear or any other feature. He saw two bodieson the floor, partially covered by a tarpaulin. He described them in his statement asabout 1.2m tall, with disproportionately large heads. Towards the end of theaffidavit, Haut concludes, “ I am convinced that what I personally observed was42

some kind of craft and its crew from outer space.” What’s particularly interestingabout Walter Haut is that in the many interviews he gave before his death, heplayed down his role and made no such claims.Glenn Dennis was a mortician working for the Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell inJuly 1947,which had a contract to provide mortuary services for the Roswell ArmyAir Field. One afternoon around 1315 or 1330, he received a call from the basemortuary officer who asked what was the smallest size hermetically sealed casketthat they had in stock. He said, “We need to know this in case something comes upin the future.” He asked how long it would take to get one, and Dennis assured himhe could get one for him the following day. He said he would call back if they neededone.About 45 minutes to an hour later, he called back and asked Dennis to describe thepreparation for bodies that had been lying out on the desert for a period of time.Before he could answer, he said he specifically wanted to know what effect thepreparation procedures would have on the body’s chemical compounds, blood andtissues…he offered to come to the base to assist with any problem he might have,but he reiterated that the information was for future use. Approximately an hourlater, Dennis got a call to transport a serviceman who had a laceration on his headand perhaps a fractured nose. He gave him first aid and drove him out to the base.He got there around 1700. Although he was a civilian, he usually had free access onthe base because they knew him. He drove the ambulance around to the back of thebase infirmary and parked it next to another ambulance. The door was open andinside he saw some wreckage. There were several pieces which looked like thebottom of a canoe, about three feet in length. It resembled stainless steel with apurple hue, as if it had been exposed to high temperature. There was some strangelooking writing on the material resembling Egyptian hieroglyphics. Also there weretwo MPs present.He checked the airman in and went to the staff lounge to have a Coke. He intendedto look for a nurse, a 2 nd lieutenant, who had been commissioned about threemonths earlier right out of college. She was 23 years of age at the time. He saw hercoming out of one of the examining rooms with a cloth over her mouth. She said,“My gosh, get out of here or you’re going to be in a lot of trouble.” She went intoanother door where a Captain stood. He asked Dennis who he was and what he wasdoing there. He told him, and he instructed him to stay there, Dennis said, “It lookslike you’ve got a crash; would you like me to get ready?” He told him to stay rightthere and then two MPs came up and began to escort him out of the infirmary. Theysaid they had orders to follow him out to the funeral home.According to Dennis, “We got about 10 or 15 feet when I heard a voice say, ‘We’renot through with that SOB. Bring him back.” There was another Captain, aredhead with the meanest looking eyes Dennis had ever seen, who said, “You did notsee anything, there was no crash here, and if you say anything you could into a lot oftrouble.” Dennis said, “Hey look mister, I am a civilian and you can’t do a dammthing to me.” The captain said, “Yes we can; somebody will be picking your bonesout of the sand.” There was a black Sergeant with a pad in his hand who said, “Hewould make good dog food for our dogs”. The Captain then said, “Get the SOBout.” The MPs followed Dennis back to the funeral home. The next day he tried to43

call the nurse to see what was going on. About 1100am she called the funeral homeand said, “I need to talk to you.” They agreed to meet at the officers club. She wasvery upset. She said, “Before I talk to you, you have to give me a sacred oath thatyou will never mention my name, because I could get into a lot of trouble”. Dennisagreed.She said, she had gone to get supplies in a room where two doctors were performinga preliminary autopsy. The doctors said they needed her to take notes during theprocedure. She said she had never smelled anything so horrible in her life, and thesight was the most gruesome she had ever seen. She said, “This was something noone has ever seen” As she spoke, Dennis was concerned that she might go into shock.She drew him a diagram of the bodies, including an arm with a hand that had onlyfour fingers; the doctors noted that on the end of the fingers were little padsresembling suction cups. She said the head was disproportionately large for thebody; the eyes were deeply set; the skulls were flexible; the nose was concave withonly two orifices; the mouth was a fine slit, and the doctors said there was heavycartilage instead of teeth. The ears were only small orifices with flaps. They had nohair, and the skin was black---perhaps due to exposure in the sun. She gave Dennisthe drawings.There were three bodies, two were very mangled and dismembered, as if destroyedby predators, and one was fairly intact. They were three and a half to four feet tall.She told Dennis the doctors said, “This isn’t anything we’ve ever seen before; thereis nothing in the medical textbooks like this”. She said she and the doctors becameill. They had to turn off the air conditioning and were afraid the smell would gothrough the hospital. They had to move the operation to an airplane hangar.Dennis drove back to the officer’s barracks. The next day he called the hospital tosee how she was, and they said she wasn’t available. Dennis tried to get her forseveral days and finally got one of the nurses who said the Lieutenant had beentransferred out with some other personnel. About 10 days to two weeks later,Dennis got a letter form her with an APO number. She indicated they could discussthe incident by letter in the future. He wrote back to her and about two weeks laterthe letter came marked “Return to sender---DECEASED.” Later one of the nursesat the base said the rumor was that she and five other nurses had been on a trainingmission and had been killed in a plane crash.Recently information has surfaced that seems to indicate that the nurse was Miriam“Andrea” Bush, 27-year old secretary of the hospital administrator, Lt ColonelHarold Warne. According to her sister Jean and brother George, Miriam Bushcame home one night in a state of total shock. Finally she said that there were a lotof strange medical personnel at the hospital she didn’t recognize and who ignoredthe regular medical staff. Later Warne would take her to an examination room andshe saw several small childlike bodies. One was moving. Their skin was grayish tobrown and they were covered in something like white linens. Their heads and eyeswere large. The next day she came home and said nobody was ever to say anythingfurther about it. The family thought she had been very heavily threatened. Theysaid the event so traumatized her that it ruined her life. She died under suspiciouscircumstances in 1989, with bruises covering her arms, but ruled a suicide by44

suffocating herself with a plastic bag tied around her head (testimony of Pat Bush,Miriam Bush’s sister in law, about her death).Astronaut Edgar Mitchell’s testimony:Edgar Mitchell grew up in Roswell, New Mexico. He later briefed a committee of theJoint Chiefs on what he knew about the 1947 UFO crash and was told it was alltrue.::::::::When former Astronaut Edgar Mitchell recently told the world that he had beenbriefed on Aliens and UFOs by the U.S. Government, the media reacted by treatinghis comments with disdain. Their own bias against any acknowledgement thatAliens might be visiting our world and unwillingness to accept the word of anational hero that UFOs are intelligently controlled spacecrafts from another worldmay have caused them to miss the historical significance of what he said.Mitchell, a former Navy Officer and Astronaut that walked on the Moon, grew up inRoswell, New Mexico. Over the past several years he has indicated that he was livingin the town when the 1947 UFO crash occurred and knew what happened based onconversations with first hand witnesses. He has also said that several other peoplewith intimate knowledge about the UFO crash have taken him into their confidence.Mitchell gave this statement to Robert Collins:“I grew up in the Roswell area. I was almost 17 and senior in high school when ithappened. Family members were ranchers and cattle people. We knew all theranchers and towns’ people in the area, including where the UFO impacted. In spiteof official denials and threats about talking, the local lore told the story.”“After my space flight, and being a local boy, people involved, not only the locals,trusted me with their stories, because they were getting older and wanted the truthout, but were afraid to say it publicly; so considered me a trustworthy source tocarry their story onward. Been telling it all that way, if anyone bothered to ask myopinion, since the Pentagon incident 11 years ago. Only now, suddenly, it gotinternational media attention.”The Pentagon incident that Edgar Mitchell is talking about occurred after herequested and received permission to meet with the Intelligence Committee of theJoint Chiefs of Staff during April of 1997. Mitchell wanted to brief them on what heknew or had heard about the Roswell UFO Crash. After the briefing, Mitchell sayshe was told by a Navy Admiral that what he knew about the crash was correct. Herecently commented on that meeting:“ I did take my story to the Pentagon -- not NASA, but the Pentagon -- and askedfor a meeting with the Intelligence Committee of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and got it.45

And told them my story and what I know and eventually had that confirmed by theadmiral that I spoke with, that indeed what I was saying was true.”When a Vice Admiral found out about the Mitchell briefing at the Pentagon, hewanted to attend. Plains of San Augustin New MexicoDate: July 5 1947 Time: 1130AAccording to Gerald Anderson when he was 5 years of age, he and several otherfamily members were out rock hunting in the desert area, when they came upon agully near a shallow arroyo and saw an object that appeared to have impacted on asmall slope. Curious, himself and his cousin walked towards it and noticed that oneside of it seemed to have been ripped open, there was a lot of debris scatteredaround. They also saw four apparent occupants of the craft. One was sitting next toit and was apparently alive. Soon other witnesses arrived; some were collegestudents from an Eastern university. But soon several armed military personnelarrived, these made threats to all those present and made them leave the area. Thebeings were described as wearing two tone gray uniform like outfits and small instature. They had slightly lager heads than humans and huge bluish eyes; their skinwas very pale. The hands were also long and slender. Two of the beings wereapparently dead, one injured and the fourth was alive and appeared terrified. Nosound was heard coming from them. Secrest was hunting turtles in a creek when he saw three flying disc shapedobjects over the area. Scared at first he hid behind a tree. He then noticed one of thediscs descend and hover over a nearby field. He was able to obtain a good look atthe object & was able to see a cockpit with two pilot-like figures inside as the objecttilted. He also noted a black hump behind the cockpit, which he believed housed theengines. The other two discs remained high in the air, while the lower discapparently surveyed the field. Council Bluffs, IowaDate: July 7 1947Time: early morningThe main witness and his girlfriend were camping in the backyard in the westernend of town when he noticed an object high in the sky traveling from horizon tohorizon like a satellite except it was read and traveling somewhat faster and movingside to side in a wave motion, not a fixed pattern but not exactly random either. Itwent much slower than a meteor. Both witnesses stood up from their cots to betterwatch the skies and a short time later they saw a disc-shaped object with red lightson its perimeter from a distance of about two miles. It seemed to be moving abovethe trees near the Missouri River or following the river itself, not quite hovering butmoving slowly while tipping on its sides and demonstrating to the witnesses that thiswas something very unusual. They watched it head south until they lost it below thetrees, they remained alert and debated if they should go to the Lewis and Clarkmonument, a park on the Bluffs overlooking Council Bluffs and Omaha. About 5 to10minutes later the object flew almost directly over their heads, about a block away,now going north and still just above treetop level. They lost sight of it and decided todrive up to the park. On the way there they were driving through Big Lake Parkand the main witness was keeping watch, when he saw the object coming in theirdirection, still at treetop level, except the witness had the eerie feeling that it wascoming for them. They panicked, he wanted to hide under the train bridge near thetennis court and his girlfriend stopped the car about 50 yards short of the bridge,they ran to and under the bridge to hide. The witness states that he had neverexperienced that kind of fear before or since. However they felt compelled to peekout and see more of the incredible object, so they did. It was hovering above a largecottonwood tree near the tennis courts about 50 to 75 yards away from them. The48
