Detailed rig make-up, requisite equipment,and standardized procedures are established toserve as specific guidelines for all aspects of replenishmentat sea.NWP 4-01.4 has evolved over the years as a directresult of continuing fleet requirements to standardizeprocedures, furnish rig make-up guidance, and providecontinuity in application and use. The highest degreeof professional competence in UNREP evolutionsis required for their safe and efficient conduct.
