When the zeroend of the phone/distance line is aboard, attach itto the outermost rail, clear of the transfer station,and disconnect the lead line messenger. Connectthe bridge-to-bridge phone circuit.NoteFor hand-tended inhaul, ensure trolley remainstwo-blocked against transfer headwhen transfer head is moving.2. Raise the STREAM transfer head to the full-upposition. Pay out the highline.3. Have personnel at the ram tensioner pull theslack highline through the ram. This will assistpersonnel at the receiving station in hauling thehighline across and prevent fouling of thehighline winch.(4) RECEIVING SHIP1. When the highline comes aboard, remove anytwists of the messenger around the highline andattach the STREAM pelican hook to the longlink on the padeye (see Figure 8-2). Attach itwith the bail down.
