The Hood should be as manufacturedexclusively by Vortice only for Vortice. The fan should have three-speed motorand have an extract performance, on maximum, to be able to comply with therequirements of the Building Regulations (Document F) for kitchens. Therequirements are 60 l/s for Kitchens but only 30 l/s when placed above thecooker (not Scotland). All performance data should be third party IMQ (BEABrecognised equivalent) verified. The frame should be manufactured fromgalvanised steel and treated with fireproof paint and the fan housing from IMQsafety certified V0 resin, with special paint finish. It should be fitted with a,washable, aluminium fire mesh and grease filter.
