10.1 Troubleshooting10.1.6 Troubleshooting of Alarm and WarningWhen an error occurs in servodrive, an alarm display such as A. and CPF or warning display such asA.9 appears on the panel operator. However, the display “A.--” is not an alarm. Refer to the following sectionsto identify the cause of an alarm and the action to be taken.Contact your Yaskawa representative if the problem cannot be solved by the described corrective action.(1) Alarm Display and TroubleshootingTable 10.6 Alarm Display and TroubleshootingAlarmDisplayAlarm NameSituation at AlarmOccurrenceCauseCorrective ActionsA.02 ParameterBreakdown(The EEPROMdata storing theparameter isincorrect.)Occurred when thecontrol power supplywas turned ON.The control power supply ranged from 30 VAC to60 VAC.The power supply was turned OFF while changingthe parameter setting. The power supply was turned OFF while an alarmwas being written.Correct the power supply, and set Fn005 to initializethe parameter.Set Fn005 to initialize the parameter and input theparameter again. The number of times that parameters were writtenexceeded the limit. For example, the parameter waschanged every scan through the host controller.Replace the SERVOPACK.(Recheck the parameter writing method.)The SERVOPACK EEPROM and the related circuitare faulty.Replace the SERVOPACK.A.03 Main CircuitEncoder Error(Not detected forthe SERVO-PACK with thecapacity of 6.0kW or more)Occurred when thecontrol power supplywas turned ONor during operationThe control power supply ranged from 30 VAC to60 VAC.A SERVOPACK fault occurred.Correct the power supply.Replace the SERVOPACK.A.04 ParameterSetting Error(The parametersetting was outof the allowablesetting range.)Occurred when thecontrol power supplywas turned ON.The incorrect parameter was being loaded. (Theincorrect value was rejected as an error at the digitaloperator.)The SERVOPACK EEPROM and the related circuitare faulty.Set Fn005 to initialize the parameter.Replace the SERVOPACK.A.05 CombinationError(The SERVO-PACK and servomotorcapacities do notcorrespond.)Occurred when thecontrol power supplywas turned ON.The SERVOPACK and servomotor capacities do notcorrespond to each other.Servomotor capacity / SERVOPACK capacity ≤ 1/4or servomotor capacity / SERVOPACK capacity ≥ 4The parameter that is written in the encoder is incorrect.A SERVOPACK board fault occurred.Select the proper combination of SERVOPACKand servomotor capacities.Replace the servomotor (encoder).Replace the SERVOPACK.1010-7
