9.4 Servo Gain Adjustment FunctionsIMPORTANT1. Sufficient precautions must be taken when setting the notch frequency. Do not set the notch filter frequency(Pn409) that is close to the speed loop’s response frequency. Set the frequency at least four timeshigher than the speed loop’s response frequency. Setting the notch filter frequency too close to theresponse frequency may cause vibration and damage the machine. The speed loop response frequency isthe value of the Speed Loop Gain (Pn100) when the Moment of Inertia Ratio (Pn103) is set to the correctvalue.2. Change the Notch Filter Frequency (Pn409) only when the servomotor is stopped. Vibration may occur ifthe notch filter frequency is changed when the servomotor is rotating.99-27
