Instructions are given for speed control mode (standardsetting) and position control mode. Unless otherwise specified, the standard parameters for speed controlmode (factory setting) are used.(1)Trial Operation for Servomotor without Load (Refer to 8.1.1.)To powersupplySERVOPACK<strong>SGDH</strong>-L1L2+ 1+ 2-L1CL2CB1B2UVWCN3CN1CN2CN1Secure the motor flange tothe machine, but do notconnect the motor shaft tothe load shaft.• PurposeThe servomotor is operated without connecting the shaft tothe machine in order to confirm that the following wiring iscorrect.• Power supply circuit wiring• Motor wiring• Encoder wiring• Motor’s rotation direction and motor speed(2)Trial Operation for Servomotor with Host Reference (Refer to 8.1.2.)To powersupplySERVOPACK<strong>SGDH</strong>-L1L2+ 1+ 2-L1CL2CB1B2UVWCN3CN1To host controllerSecure the motor flange tothe machine, but do notconnect the motor shaft tothe load shaft.• PurposeThe servomotor is operated without connecting the shaft tothe machine in order to confirm that the following wiring iscorrect.• I/O signal wiring between the SERVOPACK and the hostcontroller.• Motor’s rotation direction, motor speed, and number ofrotations• Check the operation of the brake, overtravel, and other protectivefunctions.(3)Trial Operation for the Servomotor and Machine Combined (Refer to 8.1.3.)To powersupplySERVOPACK<strong>SGDH</strong>-L1L2+ 1+ 2-L1CL2CB1B2UVWCN3CN1To host controllerSecure the motor flange to themachine, and use a coupling toconnect the motor shaft to theload shaft.• PurposeThe servomotor is connected to the machine and trial operationis performed.
