6.1 Wiring Main CircuitIMPORTANT•Designing a Power ON SequenceNote the following points when designing the power ON sequence.• Design the power ON sequence so that main circuit power supply is turned OFF when a servo alarm signalis output. See the previous circuit figure.• Hold the power ON button for at least two seconds. The SERVOPACK will output (1Ry is OFF) a servoalarm signal for two seconds or less when power is turned ON. This is required in order to initialize theSERVOPACK.Power supply2.0 s max.Servo alarm (ALM)output signal• Select the power supply specifications for the parts in accordance with the input power supply.•Harmonic SuppressionIf another device requires for harmonic suppression, connect the DC reactor to the DC main circuit side onthe SERVOPACK. For connecting examples, refer to 6.4.8 DC Reactor for Harmonic Suppression.(5) DC Power Supply InputWARNING• SGDH SERVOPACK is applicable for both AC and DC power supply input. However, if the DC power supply input supplies a voltage without setting ‘1’ (for DC power supply input) inthe parameter Pn001.2, the SERVOPACK’s internal elements will burn and may cause fire or malfunction. When using the SERVOPACK with DC power supply input, confirm the following setting of parameters. When using the SGDH SERVOPACK with DC power supply input, use the following power supply and set theparameter Pn001.2 for ‘1’. Also, read carefully to the following ‘Important’ section.6IMPORTANT1. Servomotor returns the regenerative energy to the power supply when regenerating. SERVOPACK doesnot regenerate with DC power supply input specifications, so regenerate the energy on the power supplyside.2. Take appropriate measures to ensure that a high charging current stays inside the SERVOPACK whenpower is OFF.(a) Main Circuit and Control Power Supply InputThe following shows the connection for the main power supply and the control power supply.Terminal Symbol Name Functions1 or Main circuit plusterminal270 V to 320 VDC130 to 155 VDC for SGDH-BE SERVOPACK with 100 V inputMain circuit minus 0 VterminalL1C,L2C Control powersupply input terminal270 to 320 VDC, without polarity130 to 155 VDC for SGDH-BE SERVOPACK with 100 V input6-7
