5.8 Peripheral Devices5.8.6 External Regenerative ResistorRegenerative resistors for SERVOPACKs are internally or externally mounted as shown in the table below.Regenerative resistors can be externally mounted on all SERVOPACKs. Connect an external regenerative resistorto the SERVOPACK if regenerative energy exceeds the capacity of the SERVOPACK.If a regenerative resistor is to be mounted externally, the jumper between B2 and B3 for the internal regenerativeresistor must be removed. Refer to 6.5 Connecting Regenerative Resistors for the selection. No built-in regenerative resistor is provided to 6 kW or more SERVOPACKs. Be sure to prepare the externallymounted regenerative resistor. The following table shows examples of regenerative resistors.Applicable SERVOPACKSingle-phase 100 VSingle-phase 200 VSingle-phase 220 VThree-phase 200 VThree-phase 400 VSGDH-A3BESGDH-A5BESGDH-01BESGDH-02BESGDH-A3AESGDH-A5AESGDH-01AESGDH-02AESGDH-04AESpecifications for a RegenerativeResistor Mounted in aSERVOPACKResistance (Ω) Capacity (W)Min.
