T rainingCongratulations to 20 colleagues who successfully completed a five-month HRM Programmefor EOsI and II organised by the Management Executive Development Centre of the Hong KongPolytechnic University and graduated on 15 February 2012. This is a tailor-made programmewhich aims to enhance the professionalism of EOsI and II in HRM, with particular emphasis onthe application of HRM theories and the best practices in the public and private sectors.N ational Studies Course for Middle ManagersThe Grade Management attaches great importance to the trainingand development of Grade members. Starting from 2006, SEOcolleagues will have opportunity to attend the National StudiesCourse for Middle Managers at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhouor Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University organised by theCivil Service Training and Development Institute, Civil Service Bureau.This course aims at strengthening participants’ understanding ofthe socio-economic, political and legal systems in the Mainland andenhancing their understanding of the latest development in the PearlRiver Delta region through visits to enterprises and infrastructureprojects. In 2011, 14 colleagues attended the classes conducted fromMarch to December.22
