ZeusIOPS is a unique solid state drive designed to create a

ZeusIOPS enables storage systems to realize outstanding,

performance bottlenecks associated with traditional rotating
media disk drives.
ZeusIOPS breathes new life into existing storage

the latency barriers for processors associated with rotating
media access latency. One ZeusIOPS drive can easily
replace multiple hard drives, eliminate the need for

ZEUS RAM RAM DRIVE
STEC ZeusRAM Solid State Drive is a unique offering designed
to deliver DRAM-like speeds in both reads and writes with
the persistence of fl ash. ZeusRAM is an enterprise-class
wear-resistant Solid State Drive that is targeted for high-write
transactional oriented environments. These environments require
fast write performance capabilities to speed up end user
application throughput of NAS and unifi ed storage appliances.
Built using STEC proven ZeusIOPS architecture, ZeusRAM deliver
unprecedented speeds to fi le system metadata store, journaling
and logging functions, database indexing and hashing operations.
By reducing the time spent by appliances on fi le system related
overhead, this frees up appliance to process user IO, improving fi le
system effi ciency resulting in end user application speed up. The
ZeusRAM come equipped with STEC Enterprise-class Data-Path
Protection technology ensuring instant data backup and recovery
on unplanned power failures. STEC’s ZeusRAM Solid State
Drive provides an integrated solution for storing critical data while
eliminating the need for additional volatile DRAM, batteries and/
or UPS systems thus reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO)
while improving overall system performance.
