He neverconsidered the post of primeministership bigger than that ofthe reputation of India. Thequestion was of a single vote buthe said that to remain in the chairof prime minister through horsetrading was not acceptable tohim. In democracy we shouldkeep the standards establishedby our forefathers intact. What isthe situation today? CanCongress led UPA governmentwhich survived on “Vote forCash” claim of such highstandards? Atalji was such apersonality who even questionedNehru in the parliament as oneof its young members.The Atalji and Lalji ( ShriLal Krishna Advani) duo wasunparallel.
