In a world first for <strong>the</strong> <strong>RNA</strong>, Teacher Cheese Making Workshops have been introduced as a supporting educationprogram for <strong>the</strong> Student Cheese Class in <strong>the</strong> Dairy Produce Show. Early February saw Russell Smith run day longcheese making courses for 24 high school science teachers, to <strong>the</strong>n <strong>show</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir students how to produce a creamyCamembert-style cheese for formal judging and a special awards ceremony at <strong>the</strong> <strong>RNA</strong> Showgrounds on Wednesday 2June 2010.The approaching redevelopment to <strong>the</strong> historic <strong>RNA</strong> Showgrounds will see major upgrades over <strong>the</strong> coming years thatwill benefit our competitors with improved competitor and public access, and invigorate <strong>the</strong> Royal Queensland Show withnew facilities.
