Security<br />

To communicate with a <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>2000</strong> without the use of ModWorX Pro software (i.e. via a third-party polling<br />

device), security permissions for the applicable <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>2000</strong> communications port must be set to the default<br />

(unrestricted) state. If a different security level is required, contact Cameron technical support for details.<br />

Security levels can be restored to default permissions with ModWorX Pro software.<br />

Registers<br />

Each register has an Access type: read-only or read-write, as described below.<br />

Access Type Description<br />

Read Only (RO) Register can only be read<br />

Read/Write (R/W) Register can be read and written<br />

The registers are grouped into Modbus® map blocks according to function. The <strong>Scanner</strong> <strong>2000</strong> contains the<br />
