The <strong>Duvall</strong> Cultural Commission<br />

The <strong>Duvall</strong> Cultural Commission is body <strong>of</strong> seven volunteer members appointed<br />

by the Mayor to advise the city council on the support and furtherance<br />

<strong>of</strong> all arts and cultural activities within the city. The <strong>Duvall</strong> Cultural<br />

Commission builds civic identity and economic vitality through the support,<br />

education, and promotion <strong>of</strong> the arts, culture, and heritage for the <strong>Duvall</strong><br />

The <strong>Duvall</strong> Youth Advisory Commission<br />

A youth advocacy group that connects with kids to find out what activities<br />

and programs they would like to see added to our community.<br />

<strong>Duvall</strong> Foundation for the Arts (DFA)<br />

The <strong>Duvall</strong> Foundation for the Arts promotes creativity, diversity and cultural<br />

awareness by supporting the arts and arts education in the lower Snoqualmie<br />

<strong>Duvall</strong> Historical Society<br />

Founded in 1976 the <strong>Duvall</strong> Historical Society works to preserve the<br />

heritage <strong>of</strong> <strong>Duvall</strong> and the surrounding region. It publishes books on this<br />

subject and sponsors regular programs open to the general public.<br />

The Society meets at the Dougherty House on the first Monday <strong>of</strong><br />

each month at 7:30 p.m., September through June. The Dougherty House<br />

is located at 26526 Cherry Valley Road. For more information contact<br />

<strong>Duvall</strong> Civic Club<br />

The <strong>Duvall</strong> Civic Club/Friends <strong>of</strong> the Library was founded in 1929 in<br />

response to the community’s needs during the depression. The present day<br />

organization’s purpose is to be dedicated to supporting endeavors to<br />

enhance the quality <strong>of</strong> life for Snoqualmie Valley Citizens and the <strong>Duvall</strong><br />
