188 Visit of Consultation Teamscouple who are active in pastoral ministry. Ideally, all team memberswill be from dioceses where there is an active diaconate program Ifthe situation requires it and the requesting diocese has the financialmeans of funding, additional personnel will complement the membersof the Consultation Team.D. Every effort will be made to include one person who has servedpreviously on a consultation team. Because of previous experience,the chair could utilize this person as a Special Facilitator. ThisFacilitator could help the diocesan director prepare for the consultationthrough conference calls, FAX, e-mail, or letter, especially instandardizing or streamlining the process of preparing the documentationneeded by the team and in the scheduling of persons orgroups who will participate in the consultation.a. Once the composition of the team has been accepted bythe requesting diocesan bishop, communication relationto the Team visit and consultation will be between theTeam chair and the requesting bishop and his diocesandirector of the diaconate. The Team chair will consult withhis Team members concerning arrival times at the consultationsite and estimated times of completion of the Teamvisit. These times will be coordinated with the requestingbishop and his diocesan director of the diaconate.
