The Secretariat for the DiaconateThe United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has establisheda Secretariat for the Diaconate. The executive director of the secretariatserves the chairman and members of the committee. Theexecutive director is also available to assist a diocesan bishop or religiousordinary with pre-ordination and post-ordination matters. Anevaluation of a diocesan program by the Bishops’ Committee on theDiaconate can be organized through the Secretariat for theDiaconate.
